I was very surprised that there was so much white on my candle holder. I expect it was because the photos that I happened to see showed a black rim. While my outside shelves are black, I keep it because I have white flowers on display. Should give option of white or black. Pretty colors, just not what I hoped for.

When I first saw it I was somewhat disappointed since the rim and “background” of the tiles are stark white. But light a candle after dark and the beautiful colors of the tiles take the stage and the all of the white disappears and send out a cascading shimmering rainbow. Stunning!

I love these candles! Unfortunately only received one in this color so my whole order was short one votive. I contacted the seller and unfortunately never heard back so I’m writing a review now. I won’t buy from them again if they don’t correct this.

This lit holder reflects nicely around the shelf in blues and some greens, not captured in the colors it actually reflects as the camera picks up different light than the eye sees. Unlit it’s navy and light blue to aqua with white rim,which is what I hoped for. THe size actually could be smaller for a tea candle (shown next to it in the picture.) It tends to slip around inside the holder I’ld like it more centered but I think the bottom is not quite flat. However,it’s exactly what I wanted for my bathroom. I prefer unscented tea candles (can’t tolerate perfumes). There is no candle provided by the way you must purchase tea candles elsewhere I buy them in large sets of them and use them to deodorize the bathroom. This one fits my needs.

A friend of mine gave me an electric tea candle, so I bought this to place it in. Good thing its a small candle! It has a nice glow to it.
