If you're a serious wine drinker or sommelier than you might consider purchasing a few of these cutters because they seem to be on the cheap side but very effective. I'm not sure how long the plastic will hold up or how long the blades will stay sharp but this little device gives you a perfect cut in seconds every time and with very little effort. I've always relied on the knife that was attached to my corkscrew but I have some nerve damage and arthritis in my right hand. I struggle to trim the foil from a bottle without potentially dropping the bottle or cutting myself. This EsmartD cutter makes it really easy with perfect results and it's far more ergonomic to use than a knife. The price for two of these cutters is the best I've seen on Amazon so far. I even bought a pair for a friend.The fact that they're magnetic is a nice bonus, too. I keep mine on the fridge. At the risk of sounding like an infomercial they make a great stocking stuffer.

This is one of those things that either works or does not. It works just fine. I like that it comes in a set of two, has a low price, and is magnetized so I can leave it on the fridge where it won't get lost. I've opened half dozen or so bottles with no loss in cutting power. Once it quits cutting I'll use the second one and order another set.

Not the easiest tool to open wine seal, but its convenient. Not difficult to manage and it hangs on the fridge.

I bought this so I could easily remove the foil from wine bottles at work. It works like a charm on multiple bottles and have only had a slight bit of difficulty with one bottle, but was still able to open it at the table. I kept the other one at home for when we have wine at the house. I like the magnets on the back so it can stick to the fridge with ease.

These wine bottle foil cutters look great, and I thought they would be like older ones. Be careful, spend a bit more money. These are horrible...don't cut very well

This is so nice to use when opening a bottle of wine. I have ordered these a couple of times because when our guests see it and love how easy it works, I give it to them. And order more for me.

These are exactly what I wanted and needed. I have purchased several versions of foil cutters at various prices and they all work well at first and then dull up over time and don't cut the foil. These are sufficiently inexpensive to be disposable and still work very well. This style has four cutting wheels which seem to work better than the single blade type.

These inexpensive foil cutters were perfect addition to my bar. I had a 'high end' one go south that came as a corkscrew set. These were just what I needed. Threw two in the bar drawer and squirreled one away for future use when my guests break one of the others.
