Diamond Candy Women's Waterproof Rain Jacket with Hood Lightweight Outdoors Raincoat

I bought this jacket for a summer trip to Iceland. I wanted to stay dry and comfortable while exploring under and behind waterfalls. This jacket was perfect! Not only did I stay dry while standing under a waterfall, I was warm as well. Adjustable hood and wrist closures aided in this as Iceland is quite windy. The pocket closures were appreciated and kept all items secure. I went hiking in all kinds of weather and terrain while on my vacation. This jacket was used daily for 2 weeks, and still looks brand new . Amazon recommended a large, based on my previous purchases. It is plenty big. But I was glad for the generous sizing, as I could ware it over all my layers and still have freedom of movement for bouldering in wet conditions. If I buy another, I will size down to medium, so I can comfortably wear over just one layer.

Good quality! I purchased this jacket for a trip to Norway and it was very useful since it rained most of the time and the jacket was perfect. It even helped with the cold weather (40’s and 50’s) since it has a lining in the inside. I just had to add a sweater and that was it. I never got wet when it rained. The length was to my hips. Material was very sturdy and many pockets.

I just received this jacket Diamond Candy in a light Khaki color. It is very well made of a waterproof outer layer with a very light fleece lining. The pockets are hidden and in the front, not the side, perfect for ease of use and to keep pickpockets away on travels. There is a small pocket on the chest area also. The hood is perfectly affixed with velcro at the neck and when wearing it covers the neck and chin from wind if desired. Besides the hood stays in place and looks attractive unlike hoods on other jackets. I have a NF which cost me $400 and I can say this jacket rivals it for under $40. I’ve never given such a long review but I’m impressed by this jacket and I’m looking forward to wearing it on a trip to the dessert in Spring. Also it is light and is packable. I ordered a L and it fits comfortably over a light sweater when zippered up.

Love the color,just like in the picture. Material is very nice and very waterproof and also stands up against the wind nicely.It is lightweight which is nice, but it runs small, not sure if I could wear a sweater under it. I usually wear an 18 and I got a xxxlarge.The cuffs,although adjustable run big.Haven't washed it yet,so I can't say how it does there but overall I am pleased.

I really pondered over correct size per the size chart which showed my size to be a small, but I gambled and ordered medium. I am just under 5' tall and also wanted to wear a fleece under this jacket later when its cooler. The medium is perfect, body length to cover the butt, even sleeve length. I love the color, charcoal gray with rich teal. The fabric is really beautiful, soft and drap-ey, not stiff or noisy, with velcro adjustable cuffs, and zip off hood is a plus, tho' I will probably leave mine on. There are 3 zippered pockets and one deep inside pocket, no zipper. I haven't been out in a downpour yet as to whether material is waterproof. I expect it will be just fine. I have some quality water repellent dip I can use when I can use my washer. Right now I am enjoying it as is, with fast delivery from my awesome Amazon driver! It comes in a quality re-usable zip top bag.

Omg love it! My package just arrived today and I opened it up and I tried the jacket on right away. It is so comfy. It’s nice and soft, on the inside. It’s not overly thick at all so it’s perfect for those cool fall days, cool hikes, and what not. I love how the hood cinches up around the neck area with the Velcro. The only extremely minor thing I would’ve liked to have seen would have been an extra snap on the front over the zipper. There’s a snap at the bottom and a snap at the top and I think there should’ve been at least one or two more in the middle, when covering the zipper. Other than that, this is a great jacket and I would definitely get another one if I had to.

I am very impressed with this jacket.So much that after I received my jacket, my husband tried it on and liked it so much, that I then ordered him one as well.Fits true to size. The fabric feels very durable.I have now worn my jacket several times.It is light weight but also warm. I have not yet had the opportunity to wear the jacket in the rain. But the fabric feels like the rain will just run off of it.In addition to the two hand pockets with zippers, it also has a zippered pocket at chest area on the outside and a none zip pocket on the inside at chest area.The zippers feel of good quality.The hood can zip off, but it is light and comfortable and I hardly notice the weight of the hood against my neck and back when I am not using it.I was however surprised that it is hand wash in cold water and drip dry.I would definitely recommend this jacket.

Jacket is perfect for my needs in Seattle. Slightly warmer than just a shell and slightly longer with nice design details of contrast fabric color around zippered pockets. Rain protection is good. I ordered a size larger than my normal size because I wear it over a warmer jacket for outdoor winter/spring sports spectating. Pockets are zippered and good for keeping keys, small gloves, etc. Breast pocket good for cell phone. Sleeves have velcro at wrist for tightening. Detachable hood zips on/off with velcro tabs for a front closure. I didn't think I would like the velcro tabs across my face, however I loved them the other day when the wind was howling on my walk. High collar helps keep neck warm. In general a very good product.
