This toy is very cute in appearance, but it's not very durable.My dogs took to the toy instantly. The noise the tail makes attracted them quickly. The body of the toy is a bit too big for their little mouths. This is a toy that'd be better for medium to larger sized dogs. Toy breeds would still be able to get the tail, ears, and rope near the nose in their mouth.The stitching on this toy wasn't the best. There were many areas the stitching was off or loose. Not good if you have a chewer who likes to pick at threads.This is a great fetch or tug type of toy. The body is fairly sturdy and can be pulled on without it getting damaged.The toy claims there's a built in speaker, but no one in my household was able to find the squeaker. The tail makes a crinkling sound. Beyond that, this toy didn't make a noise.The ears are the most fragile part of this toy. Beware if you have a chewer. I received this horsey dog toy at a discount to try and review; regardless this is my 100% honest opinion. This toy is UGLY...but my dog likes it and I bought it for her not me. It is meant for large dogs and she is tiny (a Chihuahua) but it still works great for her as a tug of war or chew toy. It is a bit heavy for playing catch and she does struggle with moving it around by herself but she can. I would definitely recommend it for larger dogs, but you know your dog best and how they like to play. Our girl loves tug of war so this is great for that. She can get the crinkly sounding tale and tug while we hold the heavier & harder body. She also loves chewing on the ropes coming off the face, ugly face that it is. My family was trying to figure out what it was and when I told them the description said horsey dog squeaker so I assume a horse...they just didn't see it and got good laughs out of mocking it's ugliness. Now I marked it down one star because it says squeaker but I can't find any part that actually squeaks so I don't know if we got a dud or if it's just a faulty description. The tale does have a crinkly sound when you touch or move it (like plastic or lightweight foil) but no squeaking anywhere. That is fine by me, my dogs not a huge fan of them and usually tries to avoid them on most toys.

This dog toy by Pheenx seemed like a great concept. Fetch, crinkly tail, stuffed animal, it was everything in one. However it lasted like five minutes. I've bought my dog lots of stuffed animal crinkly toys or squeaky toys and they've lasted weeks, days even. He had the head off this this in five mins!! I don't know is it was sewing, or he just liked it that much he tore the head off? But the head does not hold up. All that is left is the long stick part for throwing, but it's soft, plush like and after played with a bit it's like a drooled on stuffed animal your playing fetch with, vs just a ball or stick that isn't falling apart.This toy is ok, but it's not the best we've found so far.

Great in every way but one. The tail is too easy for a puppy to chew up and swallow. It's not yarn as it looks in the picture. However, the toy is so cute and my puppy really went after it and loved it. So, I do recommend with the caveat that you play with your dog when he/she is playing with this toy.

My picky dachshund loves this toy! He loves all the different textures and materials. This toy is incredibly durable and will surely survive the most aggressive chewers. We love it and want to check out their other toys!

This product says "strong" but it didn't even last a week and has already ripped at the seam by the head. I would not recommend this product due to the fact that is it poorly constructed and is not "strong."

A sturdy toy with a tail that makes crinkle noises. I was concerned my little terrier would pull off the furry tail material, but that hasn't happened. This one is easy to throw and fetch.

Was the favorite go to toy for my new puppy. Loved the different textures. Pup is into a few other toys now, so will hide away fo a while and it should be a favorite again when it comes back out.
