Not 1-inch cubes
Not 1-inch cubes. They are 7/8-inch. For what I am using it for, this is important. I ordered these to replace another ice cube tray I ordered from Amazon that also was not the size that it claimed.

Like these trays but not as easy to get ice cubes out as I expected.

Work Great!
Works Great! I froze cubes of coconut milk mixed with spices to make a great healthy creamer for my Americanos. They pop right out and the trays clean up easily.

As Advertised; Good Product
I didn’t buy these to make ice with – I have a fridge with an ice maker that more than keeps up with my demands. I mostly got these for freezing (or otherwise holding) non-water items, such as freezing creamer to make my iced coffee with. It turns out that these actually are oven safe, even though the packaging doesn’t indicate as such (at the time of writing, the notation about being oven safe / heat resistant is hidden in the very last picture on the listing and isn’t really fully mentioned in either the description or bullet points. I don’t know about everyone else, but I think that that’s something that should be much more prominently featured, or at least listed in the text portion of the product information, or, at the very least, on the product packaging. Now that I’ve confirmed that these are oven safe, I fully intend on breaking out all kinds of brownie recipes and stuff… the small portions make it much easier to take treats to work. The first thing I noticed upon opening the packaging was that I feel that there is a lot of cosplay potential here. If you flip the trays upside down, they kind of resemble techno-punk sucktopods for a squid. If I was going to a convention as some kind of futuristic cephalopod, I would totally be figuring out how to make gloves out of these. Maybe I was a little bit hyper at the time. Just throwing all that out there. After giving these a quick washing, I actually filled them up with Wilton Candy Melts. Not like fresh out of the bag and into them … I was needing to empty out my fondue pot from my last candy-coating session and didn’t want to throw out the left over candy bits, as there was quite a good amount left and that stuff is expensive. Oddly enough, this actually went quite smoothly, especially on the getting the cubes back out front. This surprised me given the number of reviews that stated that they had issues getting non-ice items back out if they didn’t grease the pan first. Now, granted, I’ll admit, these weren’t cooked in to place, so that may have had something to do with it, but I couldn’t readily grease the cube holes, because the grease would ruin the melty-ness factor of the Candy Melts. I think the trick was that the first thing that I did was just give the whole unit a brief twisting similar to what you’d do to one of the hard plastic ice trays. After that, I just kind of flipped them over and pushed each of the squares on the back like buttons and everything came right out without a fight. My only commentary (and I would think that this would be common sense) is that if you’re using these, be sure to put them on some sort of tray before filling them, as trying to pick them up afterwards just by themselves makes a mess. But that’s pretty much a standard for silicone containers. Toaster oven trays actually work fairly well, as they’re about the same size as the ice trays, and will fit in a French door refrigerator without much hassle.Lastly, I’ll answer the question that I know some of you all are wondering. These units do not pass the “pinch test” that’s apparently the popular thing to apply to silicone items (see image). I don’t know how much of this “test” is actually legitimate versus how much of it is just internet hype (there has been commentary either way), but all I want to do is just answer the question for those of you to which the test actually means something. Personally, I don’t particularly care too much about the results and fully intend on using them for whatever strikes my fancy.General conclusion: as advertised, works wonderfully. Common sense required.**DISCLAIMER**I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Perfect for my needs!
I have never used silicone ice trays before but sure wish I had been using these all along. They have so many uses but my initial use was to freeze bone broth that I make for my three fur babies on a regular basis. Previously I would make and freeze it in a plastic 4 oz Glad food storage container. The problem with that is that once you thaw it you have to use it all within a short period of time so I ended up putting a lot of it down the drain. My normal use for bone broth is to use to enhance their food or to give to them (for nutrition) when they not feeling up to eating. These ice trays are perfect for my purpose because I can freeze the bone broth, easily pop the cubes out of the trays, store them in my freezer in a zip lock freezer bag and take as many out at a time as I need! I'm very happy with this purchase. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review (good or bad).
