****** Updated Review*****Amazon shipped me a replacement quickly as the first one I received was dead on arrival. I was able to set up the watch and connect it to the app pretty quickly. However, its performance is still disappointing. When first connected, it shows the location of my office. I took the watch home with me, and I checked on the location of the watch again two hours after initial connection; however, the app shows the watch is still in my office, while it is actually next to me. I checked again another hour later, and it showed "Cannot connect to hereO". There is no way for me to reset the watch to get it reconnected.It is definitely not reliable, and it's not worth paying the monthly fee of $5/month after having to pay $199 for the watch. I definitely would not trust this GPS watch to track the location of my child. Very disappointed.****** Original Post******I received this GPS watch with much excitement, but I was much disappointed. The GPS watch is a dud right out of the box. The instructions were terrible. Simply said charge it for 2 hours and connect it to the app. After charging, the watch continued to display "OFF", and it can't be turned on. It's going back to Amazon for sure!I was able to try it on my younger daughter. It's like a watch, so it is very easy for my daughter to remove it. The wristband is short, and my daughter is on the skinny side, it's already using the last hole on the band. It will be too small for her next year, if this thing ever works.I also just realized it's not waterproof because it's charging connector is on the wristband. It's only splash proof, but not water resistant or water proof.The watch itself is a little bulky, and there is something very hard and thick protrudes on the wristband. I attached a photo showing it. My daughter said it's uncomfortable. If your child has any sensory issue, this watch won't work for you especially it can be easily removed.It's very disappointing after spending $199 on this purchase. I am switching back to My Buddy Tag, even though it's more like a virtual tether and not a GPS watch, but My Buddy Tag works and it's much cheaper with no recurring charges.

Returning. the watch doesn't work as intended. It sends updates to my iPhone occasionally; sometimes it's quick, other times it'll take hours. Sometimes I don't get an email at all. That all defeats the purpose of tracking my child's safety. The watch form factor is great, the app GUI seems easy enough. Couple of things I didn't like:-watch received was scratched on the face-no warranty card-battery life either lasted a full day or just a couple hoursThankful for amazom's returm policy And appreciate this company who definitely has something here, just hasn't matured. I understand a new version is being released in October. Hopefully, it gets those much needed improvements.

Completely NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I'd pay triple the amount of money for a product that works. we tested the system; we set up "safe zones" and then went to dinner far away from our "safe zones" the watch had about a 15 min delay from our childs actual location it kept going "in and out" of service and couldnt send real time updates -even when in emergency mode. it was actually slower to update when in emergency. Do not get this watch if you actually want a product that will assist in monitoring your childs location in an emergency

The watch is very nice and as opposed to other products we considered, it is small enough for a child to wear comfortably. My daughter loves wearing it and shows it off to everyone.It works very well, and sends us alerts at relevant times like when its turned on, when she leaves the house, when she leaves school, when she arrives back at home, and when the battery is low.The battery lasts the whole day and we charge it overnight.

Doesn't work as promised. Very very glitchy. You will return this watch, I promise.

The one star is for the customer service. The product seems fine (looking at it -- not able to use because of the 1-star customer service). I just ordered two watches for Christmas travel. In order to activate these watches, you need to email customer service. They activate. I emailed yesterday and received no response. I also left a message on Facebook. No response. There is no phone number to reach anyone. My expectation is that if customer service must activate the phone, then they should be prepared to do so within 1-2 hours of purchase. I am boxing both watches up and sending them back to Amazon tomorrow.

This watch is an awesome idea but it does not meet the requirements that a parent needs for locating peace of mind. Does not hold a long charge and locating takes too long. Half of the time I pressed locate it came back saying unavailable. Clicked locate again and 2 mins later it gave me a location. As a parent going through a separation, I need peace of mind to know where my kid is at all times when she isn't with me. This watch causes more frustration and stress than peace of mind. Will be purchasing another brand and warning my friends about this one.

It does what it is supposed to do (i.e. provide your child's location), but the batteries don't last very long. We fully charged them, placed them on our kids in the morning, and the battery was drained by the afternoon. This has happened everyday that we have used them, with both watches. They fit on our kids wrists just fine, although they are a bit large. This is expected since it has many functions and features, so it's not an issue. I'll provide an update as we continue to use these. The app is awesome and works great.If the batteries continue to die within 8 hours, consistently, we will be returning them.Update: the watches still don't last long,but now I get significant delays in the notification process. 3 hours after I picked up my daughter from school, I got a notification that she left. Additionally, the app will freeze if you attempt to adjust any of the functions of the watch (sleep mode, emergency mode, etc) before it can update its location, which can take between 2-10 minutes, if it updates at all.
