PROs - Love the screen
Only had it for a week but I'm liking it so far, especially for the price. Bought a second one for my wife.I'm coming from a 4-year-old Dell, and I use a 2015 Macbook Pro at work. Also this is my first touch-screen laptop. So here are my observations with that in mind:PROs- Love the screen. I'm a resolution nerd, and I love how crisp the 4k display is (one thing I love about the Mac as well). I haven't had any problems with brightness but admittedly I haven't tried to use it outside.- Other have complained about the keyboard, but I have no issues with it. I don't think it's much if at all smaller than "normal", it just looks small on a large machine with no number pad. Like the key feel better than my Mac.- I'm mostly using it as a laptop, but the tablet mode is more fun / enjoyable than I expected. Definitely a nice way to watch movies / videos- Build quality feels excellent, it's solid and doesn't flex (feels like a Mac!)- SSD is quiet, uses little power, is fast, and you don't need to worry about dropping it and bricking the HDDCONs- Battery life could be better. Was surprised to see 25% or so drop after an hour of video watching- Yes, it's large and solid = heavy. As a 15" laptop, it's not as featherweight, don't expect it to be- 8GB ram is skimpy. I'll probably look into upgrading- 256GB is not a big deal if you use the cloud or have NAS, but for people who are hoarders this could be an issue- Power button placement -- I have accidentally suspended it a few times. It's a compromise, but I'll get used to itOverall, I'd recommend it. Don't expect it to compete with $1000 laptops and you'll be happy.PS - mine looked and worked like new despite being as refurb. Came in a Dell labelled, sealed box.

You win some you lose some........
EDIT:I decided to take a shot and ordered another one. Works perfectly.Review of "Newest Dell Inspiron 15 7000 7568 CONVERTIBLE 2 in 1 Laptop : 15.6" 4K (3840x2160) TOUCHSCREEN | Intel 6th Gen i7-6500U | 256GB SSD | 8GB DDR3 | Backlit Keyboard | Windows 10) (Certified Refurbished)":Let me start off by saying I returned the product the same day I got it in the mail (~6 hours of complete frustration).Problems:- Occasional power failure. Sometimes it would take me several tries to get the computer to turn back on after having to restart it or shut it down because of the reasons listed below.- Constant freezing/crashing; Laptop would be usable for 5-30 minutes then crash, even while in safe mode and with full updated drivers, etc. It never stayed operational long enough for me to run full Dell or Windows diagnostic tests or security scans before crashing again. I couldn't even factory reset it before I returned it because it would even crash during the reset.- The built-in keyboard would randomly stop working here and there forcing me to use the touchscreen. Only restarting the pc seemed to resolve this issue.Positives:- The screen looks great and has nice, wide viewing angles - I would expect nothing less from a 4k screen- Rotating the screen from laptop mode to tablet mode requires some force but nothing near enough to make you think you might break it and felt smooth overall.- Looks very clean and nicely designedOverall I love the look and feel of this laptop only to be sent running the other way due to the laughingly absurd technical issues once you get it on (or not, in my case). I have put together my own desktop gaming pc and have dealt with diagnosing software and driver issues but this laptop acted like it didn't want to be fixed. Please keep in mind that this is a REFURBISHED PRODUCT REVIEW so you might not have the same issues with a new product.

Bad Battery Life, Great Screen
So what you're buying with this laptop is a device that needs to be close to a plug. The battery runs down really quickly, I can only get about two hours of battery life out of it. That's its main drawback, and if you need battery life get something else. I'm looking for something else now. In the year I've owned it I've only used it to work from home or put out fires while on vacation, never really used it as my main machine. I've been using it almost exclusively for a week and I'm looking for something else because I don't like to be constantly tethered to the wall.Otherwise, it's an excellent laptop. Runs Word, Excel, YouTube, browser windows, etc. just fine. The screen is really nice. The 4K display looks great. What prompted this review at this point (one year into ownership), however is that I'm looking for something else as I've begun to exprience slow performance. I looked at my Task Manager to see if there were any programs that were hogging resources and saw that I had 4 GB of RAM. Now, it's been a year since I bought it so I figured that maybe I had bought it with that. However, I looked at my Amazon Purchase history and the description for this device shows that it's supposed to have 8 GB of RAM. So I seem to have gotten a device with only 4 GB of RAM. I suspect this was completely inadvertent on the part of the seller, as I haven't seen any other complaints like this on here. However, if the seller would contact me about it and fix the situation, I'd be very appreciative. I know one year later is a long time to bring something like this up, so I'm not actually expecting anything, but I would appreciate it, anyways. Thanks in advance.

Refurbished just as good as new
So far so good. Battery life could be a bit longer but does well. A bit hard to open with 1 hand and a bit heavier then i expected but all good. The power plug and head phone jack are on the same side and almost the same size so make sure to plug in correctly. Unfortunately I returned it because it would freeze randomly. Sometimes everything would resume other times it needed a reboot. It would also give me this random message of a controller detaching and reattaching. Those came up during the freezing moments. Also the sound would change Everytime I plugged in the headphones. Other then that I loved the screen. The amount of screen space was awesome.
