Maybe not totally organic but doable and baby loves it!
I'm normally a purist. If it says organic, it should be all organic. I would think that Disney could certainly make sure that everything in and on the doll is organic but I guess not. According to the other reviews, there has been a problem with stuffing. However, since my grandbaby's parents can't afford to buy organic toys, it's definitely a step up from the "normal" stuffed toys. It isn't terribly expensive. Baby who just turned 6 months loves it. I wish that all toys for babies and kids were made responsibly and I would be willing to pay more, especially if they were made here. Until that time, I'll have to get something like this. It's pretty big as you can see from the video which was a surprise (I didn't pay attention to the size).Pros:Very cuteColorfulDoesn't have button nose or small parts that could be pulled offSemi-organic (outside)The bell is interesting for baby (didn't annoy us as another reviewer felt)Cons:Made in ChinaSays it's cotton but possible has polyester fillingDurability? To be determinedI have previously purchased the "Organic Farm Buddies Plush Toy, Ballerina Mouse" and baby likes it but seems to like this one even better. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00APSIDA6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1My review for that one:"Very cute first toy for baby. The reason for the 4 stars is that it is made in China. That said it is certified as organic and hopefully it was tested rigorously. I bought several first toys for my granddaughter and was surprised how few are made in the US. One has to scroll down to see the country of origin I have learned and now do that for anything I purchase for her. Considering that babies put everything in their mouths, this is very important to me. That said, this is a very cute doll.PS: Some pages with toys for babies do not display the country and I'm glad this one does."If any reader of this has come across safer stuffed toys, please let me know in a comment!

Miyim doesn't care about quality, these will fall to pieces in no time.
I recently purchased both this Winnie the Pooh and also Eeyore from Miyim (Greenpoint Brands). When they arrived I was shocked by the poor quality of both stuffed animals. Miyim claims their toys are durable, washable, and heirloom quality (and maybe that was once the case) but the animals we received were falling apart at the seams (literally) within a few days. The stuffed animals have not been through the washer or dryer and my children are very gentle with stuffed animals ( we have had absolutely no hole problems ever with any other stuffed toy). After less than a week Winnie the Pooh has 3 holes along his neck line and Eeyore has holes along the seam of his leg, and nose and also a third hole right in the middle of the fabric.I do a fair amount of sewing and I noticed a few reasons for the quality issues:1. Miyim is sewing too close to the edge of the fabric, leaving NO seam allowance. Most likely they are trying to cut back on fabric costs by using less without altering size (this cannot be done without sacrificing structural integrity).2. The fabric/material on it's own is very weak and falls apart easily.3. The toys are overstuffed (not as big a deal as the first 2 issues) and taking the previous problems into account the stuffing is putting a lot of pressure on the fabric and seams which just aren't strong enough to hold up to it.Unless Miyim seriously improves their quality (and could prove it to me) I would never recommend a Miyim product to anyone, they are sure to only leave your children disappointed (and you out $20), For now I am attempting to patch my kid's Miyim toys as best I can but I don't expect them to be salvageable for long and then I'll have to deal with the sadness and disappointment of my children when there's just not enough secure fabric left to mend.

that is pretty loud. This would never allow her to sleep
I think this is a well made stuffed toy and my little one loves it. We have the other Pooh friends as well. She loves them so much and wants to take them to bed. But the problem is, that there is a bell-like rattle inside.that is pretty loud. This would never allow her to sleep. It is a shame because so much thought was put into a wonderful organic toxic free toy that a parent could feel comfortable having their child sleep with and it makes all this noise. I am thinking about having someone who sews remove the bells. Why they thought noise was appropriate for a toy that surely would become a bedtime favourite is beyond me. If not for the noise, I would ABSOLUTELY give 5 stars.

Adorable and organic!
love, love, love it! and so does my 2 year old daughter :-) It is completely organic and so it meets all my standards on what I would allow (when I can with in reason) my children to come in contact with. It's organic AND adorable! This does not happen very often. I shopped for a while before I found something that was sweet and charming that was organic. There are so many things out there that are organic but (in my opinion) was designed by someone with no taste or imagination. So this was a real treat and hope more companys will get with it and make organic that is also desirable in the way the product looks and relates to children and mommys as well.

adorable!
A gift for our niece's new baby. She lives 3,000 miles away so I had it sent right to their house, I didn't see it in person. We got a very nice thank you for incredibly cute Pooh Bear and it's good quality. The newborns older sister was liking it so much she was going to take care of it until her sister is a little older :-) It was a hit!

Don't Let The Rattle Dissuade You!
Yes, there is a "rattle", but it is not loud or annoying. It is more of a light tinkling. I love that it's organic since my son sucks the ears. This is his lovey in his crib and when I put him down for his naps or at night he immediately rolls to his side and hugs his Pooh! It's light enough for a baby to maneuver but solid enought that I'm not worried about leaving it in his crib while he's sleeping. Plus the tinkling is nice to hear over the monitor to let me know he's awake!
