ButterickPATTERNS B5030 Misses' Dress, Belt and Sash, Size FF (16-18-20-22)

This pattern is so simple to follow. I recommend this pattern to any beginner seamstress. It is very easy to alter in the hip/waste areas or in the bust. Call me old fashion but I wear a full slip under all my dresses. No body looks good when a dress clings to all the wrong places. We live in the hot, humid south so I mostly use very light to light medium weight 100% cotton material. --- with a slip to stop the stick.

I was looking for an actual wrap dress and this was is a faux wrap. I was able to alter the pattern to make it work, so it still met my needs and looked great finished.

Will be using this pattern at the same gather as Pattern# 2917. I have the fabic for the first dress picked out and the color pick out but the feel of the fabic is not what I have not found yet.

I really like this pattern but it runs a little small.

This dress is really like the Diane VonFurstenberg ones as I grew up. She was such a sensation.

Nice patterns, works exactly as they should

This is such a cute dress. Unfortunately, the sizes are all WAY too small. What is supposed to be a 22 would barely go on my size 14 friend. Just keep that in mind before buying.
