Apeksby Aqua Lung Tech Shorts with Pocket

The photo showed the previous gen tech shorts with the silver lined pockets. The new gen has fixed pocket materials as well as the seal glued seams.2xl for a 40-42 waist fits nicely with the belt as the main tension. Wide in the legs like normal shorts when standing, tight like (yet loose) a wetsuit when sitting.

My husband loves these Tech Shorts. We typically buy ScubaPro brand items, but chose this pair for the additional features not found in the ScubaPro dive shorts.Things he really likes:Heavy duty materialPockets are easy to grasp and open because they have a hard edge.D-rings attached inside the pockets provide a safe way to tether items for additional security of dive gear.Nice size pockets that expand if needed.Seat of shorts has a heavy duty padding for sitting without worrying about snagging on tough surfaces.

These Tech Shorts are worth every penny. The quality is outstanding. The pockets are very large (much larger than any other tech pockets that I have seen), and there are two D-rings on the inside. The butt is padded to reduce wear. According to the Apeks website size chart, I was on the cusp between L and XL, so I ordered XL. But the XL was huge and I had to exchange it for a L size.

These look great and have lots of functionality!Pockets velcro release for lots of space when needed.2 Big heavy D rings on rack side hidden by flap.Drain holes.Appears to be built to last.Beware sizing is tricky!I normally would expect to order a medium or large but take note to the sizing chart and still err that they are bigger than expected.My waist is a 32-33 and I have normal size legs.. I'm About 6' tall weigh 184 lbs and I ORDERED A SMALL and I have them tightened all the way and they fit perfect 👌I can easily wear them over a wetsuit.The waist has velcro adjustments, then the belt is adjustable with lots of room to spare.I suspect if your a 30 waist these may be too big.These look techy with a rubber type traction feel to the buttocks & inner thigh.They fit nice in the crotch and not baggy nor tight.A bit spendy but hey it's scuba!Anything decent costs a little bit!

They are nice fitting but I was very disappointed that they didn’t have the D-rings as advertised. Be careful what size you select. I’m 6’ 200lbs with a 34” waist and needed a size small, surprisingly.IMO - they are overpriced compared to other companies I’ve seen with a very similar product.
