This was my first time buying or using a portable urinal, and I have to say, I'm fairly impressed. The build quality was pretty high - the plastic used is sturdy, and doesn't really bend. The urinal has a flat bottom and sits stable on a surface, which may be useful depending on your use case. The handle is fairly robust as well - I tried breaking it, but could not. The urinal is I think the perfect size - comfortably large enough that you won't have overflow problems, at least with one use (though depending on how big your bladder is, I could see up to three "full" uses), but not too large. I left the container full overnight, and when I checked on it the next morning, there was no smell that escaped the container. I also wanted to test it by filling it with water and shaking -- the lid fits perfectly with no leakage. The lid does glow -- it's really bright for the first half an hour or so, but fainter afterwards. I could still use the glow to find the bottle after I put it in a pitch-black room for ten hours (though I have good eyesight, your mileage may vary, and I don't know how many months the glow would last). Overall I'd highly recommend this due to its size and quality of construction, whether for truckers on the go, or folks who need to stay on their bed more. I think it's a fairly robust product that is easy to use and 'just works,' and is built well enough to last.

I have used it more than several time when I was not able to get to a bathroom. Or it was being occupied. Just to give yall and idea, I work from home in a household with 3 other grown adults and 2 grandchildren. Gets the job done

Our 13 YO broke his leg in baseball. Spiral Tibia fracture to be specific. Once home from the ER we had to figure out a lot of things including how to pee. An empty OJ bottle was the immediate course.I found this item and ordered it. 2 days later it arrived, couldn’t find any that would arrive earlier. This urinal as gotten some unfair reviews and I'd like to dispel those criticisms. It is the right size, reliably made, seems durable, the top screws on and off easily without leaking, and it does not smell. It does not stand on its end but that is not what is was made for. I prefer this model which I lay on its side as it was made, no chance of tipping or spilling. The top does sufficiently glow in the dark as long as its left under a light before bedtime. I recommend buying it without any reservations.

These urinals are so much sturdier and made of a thicker plastic than most other urinals. And the screw on lids have been easy to use and definitely work to prevent spills. I highly recommend this product!!
