The media could not be loaded. I know Penaten Creme isn’t technically made for this purpose, but I read about it helping on a page I follow, so I decided to give it a try on my dog’s irritated lip. It worked really well and healed the area quickly. The cream is thick and rich, so a little goes a long way. It was gentle on my dog’s skin and didn’t cause any irritation. I also really appreciated the mild, clean scent — not overpowering at all. Definitely happy with the results!

I’ve had two babies with extremely sensitive skin that are prone to diaper rash even with very frequent changing. I have tried a lot of different diaper creams as a result.Some of the popular newer petroleum based diaper creams advise you to use a ton of the product and to add even more on when you think you’ve put enough on. Like icing a cake!This product does not require a large application every time, and it actually works! Just use a finger tip amount per change and that will be effective. This tub will last much longer than everything else I have tried.My baby’s stubborn rash cleared up in one afternoon!

My photos show the actual ingredients which seemed to be a mystery in the product listing. This is a white crème that looks and feels like marshmallow crème. If you’ve ever used zinc oxide on your nose, that is what it looks a bit like; however, the stark white fades into your skin tone after application. A lot of crème sticks to the underside of the foil liner under the metal cap; you might not want to waste that much so lift the foil with care. Don’t know yet if it will work for my problem. Time will tell.
