It was so close to being 5 stars...
I've had this rug (play mat) for a month.Day one it was put to the test. I rolled this thing out at night after the kids went to bed. The next morning we had pancakes.A little while later the kids came out smelling like syrup.. strongly of syrup. So I walked down the hall to my sons room to see that they had swiped the ENTIRE bottle of syrup and completely emptied it on this rug. Everything was covered.I can say it IS water proof. Very much so. Syrup proof too! It actually cleaned up nicely and kept less of a sticky feel than our actual floors did. I was super impressed.About 2 weeks after we got it I noticed some holes in it (pictured) and learned it was from where their couch sits on it. The legs poked holes in the rug.And about a week after that we found the giant flap. I'm assuming it ended up with a hole and they pulled on it.Once it has a hole, the thing rips Like paper.This is why in giving a lower review. I loved this thing. It just makes clean up so much easier. My kids are SO messy, and the idiots we bought our house from left the carpet pad under the linoleum, so we have to have a rug in there because the tiles move and pinch your feet when you walk. This little playmat was the perfect solution, it covers the floor, but doesn't absorb all the messes like a normal rug.But it just doesn't last very long at all. Really disappointing.

Wrong Product.... however
I ordered the City Mat and received the Farm Mat. My grandson and I love the mat. It looks sturdy and easy to clean, compared to fabric mats. My grandson (almost 2) excitedly looked for animals and vehicles. So although this one was a mistake, I will keep it and reorder, the City Mat. Twinkle Toys has said they will give a discount, even though Amazon filled the order and got it wrong.I work in child care and plan to use the mats there when my grandson has out grown the mats. Hoping they survive boy play!

Rollmatz Kids Play Mat
This is a great play mat. My Grandson just loves it. I can use it in the house or outside, which is another reason I like it so much. I was looking for one my Grandson can play on with his cars and that was waterproof too. Wonderful purchase.

My son has a dust allergy, so can’t have a carpet in his room. This mat is perfect and allows for easy wiping.
