I ordered two of these. One for fruits,the other for veggies. When they arrived, I was concerned they were too small. But as I began adding the fruit/veg to them I was pleasantly surprised to see how much they actually hold! We had these items in baskets across a side counter but thanks to these, we have significantly more counter space and the area looks tidy! I shopped all our local stores trying to find something like this and didn't come close. AND you can't beat the price (this was before Amazon jacked-up their 'Super Saver Shipping' and you only needed to spend $25 for free-shipping!)!!! That's why we got two! One for fruits and one for veg!I've read a few reviews where people felt this is 'too small'. Just to give you an idea of how much they can hold...we have 3 medium potatoes, 3 medium yellow and 1 large onion, a package of grape tomatoes, 5 Roma tomatoes, 3 beef-steak tomatoes plus 3 large bulbs of garlic in one, that's 18 Veggies PLUS a package of maters! In the other, a Costco bag of large lemons (14 left), 4 medium apples and 3 oranges! That's 21 pieces of Fruit! In BOTH I could still add significantly more items with ease. So, I guess it all depends on how much fresh produce you keep on hand and one's perception of small. As non-meat eaters we consume LOTS of produce and these fit the bill perfectly for US since we market about 2-3 times a week. Hope this is helpful!PS: Saw a review that the package include a Prop 65 warning. My package did not include this. Hopefully, they made changes (imported from...you guessed it! China!). As another reviewer stated, this is everywhere...even on fabrics!!!!!

So. It's a tiny bit wobbly, but mostly good. It could just be that I need to tighten something. Keep in mind these are not ginormous baskets. I've found one of those bags of apples that you buy at that store - the pre-filled mesh kind, not the massive "get 'em while their hot" kind - nicely fills the bottom. The top could maybe take three small apples. SMALL. I've taken to just leaving a handful of those little boxes of raisins for the kids in the top basket. Middle basket is, obviously, somewhere in between those two extremes. I'd say it could handle about half a bag of those little easy-peel baby oranges. It's pretty and helpful. I would buy it again.

The first thing I noticed was how small basket was. Then while putting it together I noticed that one of the screw heads had completely broken off inside the screw rod, so ws only able to use two baskets, the bottom and the middle. The bottom basket (supposedly the largest) was only able to hold 9 small fuji apples. The middle basket is totally useless unless you want to use it for 2 or 3 items - that's it. The top basket - why was it even included?Very dissapointed in this purchase. I will use it until I get something better from a different manufacturer. Would not recommend.

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed when I got this. It was nowhere near as sturdy as I was expecting it to be, and the baskets themselves are constructed with wiring that seems too thin for my tastes. I was expecting a heavy duty basket, but instead I have a somewhat wobbly contraption that I'm honestly not very thrilled with. It stays put but, to me, isn't worth what I paid for it.It's pretty to look at, but I would not have purchased it had I seen it on the shelves in a store. If you plan on putting lighter weight items on it, then you will be completely fine, but heavier, not so much. The spacing between the tiers is also not very big either and the baskets themselves are not very large, so I had issues fitting more than a 6-7 full sized potatoes on the bottom basket. If you use the smaller red potatoes, then you might be able to split the bag between the bottom two, but again what's the point of having it if you have to use two baskets for one item?I should have paid more attention to the dimensions of this, so the size issue is more my fault than anything else, but the stability of this thing still leaves much to be desired.

There's nothing wrong with the basket itself; it's sturdy, easy to assemble, aesthetically pleasing, and holds fruit or other things. However, if I were to rate it for my own personal needs (and I bought it as a fruit basket), I would have given it 1 or 2 stars. From a functional aspect, this basket does what it is advertised to do. With that said, this thing is so small it hardly holds any fruit! If you have limited counter space or a small apartment or don't eat a lot of fruit, then the basket will do what it is designed for. However, if you buy and eat lots of fruits and veggies like we do, then you'll be disappointed. Sure, you'll be able to fit a few apples, an orange or two, maybe some bananas (although the shape of the basket and limited space make it awkward for holding bananas), but not much more. Look at the middle tier--it only holds three small lemons. The top tier would only hold one lemon! If you're looking for a fruit basket to hold more than just a few pieces of fruit, buy something else. If you only need to keep a few things in this basket, you'll likely be pleased with it.

It wasn’t what I was expected. It was small and one of the legs was bent out of place causing the basket to lean. The legs were sturdy. I sent it back. It’s smaller than it looks.

Either a screw is missing or one of the rods are wrong because I can't assemble this. I think one of the rods are supposed to be thread on the outside. Neither of them after.After contacting Amazon, I immediately received a new one with all the pieces and it works great. It was easy to assemble. With thet price. I like that it doesn't take up much counter space too.
