I ordered the shade Fair but it is way too dark - even with the smallest amount it's far too dark to use. Disappointed, was a waste of money.

It produces a lot of powder/fall out so be careful when applying that you do not get it on your clothing or other surfaces you are sitting or standing over. This has no scent that I could detect which is great. After reading reviews I ordered a shade lighter than I would expect. When applied it is still a little dark, (I’m a black woman with caramel skin). It is the winter so maybe this would be perfect during the summer months. I did end up applying my PÜR Beauty powder foundation in the shade ‘Light Tan’ at the center of my face to lighten things up. That seemed to work well. Overall this is a decent powder. Would be 5 stars for me if the color matched better and if it didn’t kick up so much powder when using a brush.

I was skeptical about this product, but after reading the reviews I decided to try it and I am not disappointed. Happy with the coverage it provides and no more added makeup wrinkles!

Before ordering, I spent a long time looking at the Laura Geller website to find the right shade. In the end, I purchased a shade that was lighter than I thought I needed, but it was still too dark for me. I decided to keep it for summer, when I am tanned, and I purchased another shade still lighter. That shade was a far better match for me. I also purchased a highly reviewed applicator brush.People rave about this product online, so I had high expectations. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. Yes, it covers well and it does even out your complexion. However, I already have a fairly even complexion, but I do have some dark spots. It reduced those spots, but it did not cover them, so I still need a concealer. I've been using the product for a couple of weeks now, and yesterday for a change I switched back to my old powder foundation (which costs only about 1/3) as much. Honestly, I could not tell the difference! I think the Laura Geller is a little lighter and a little more sheer, but for the price, I think I will go back to the other foundation.
