The fabric appears to work as advertised for the thermal properties, and the magnet based system is clever. The finish however, looks tacky and makes the overall blind look cheap. I've included photos of this product, so you get a sense of what it looks like when installed. I've intentionally included low light shots because the use of the flash glosses over the finish details that are more visible in low light.If you are looking for a blind solution with no mechanical parts, perhaps as a result of a concern with baby-proofing or young children, I believe this is the audience this product is marketed to.I found a blind on Ikea.com at $32. While these may have some mechanism for retraction, the aesthetic is probably better, and for me, knowing I could get cheaper AND better looking with an Ikea product is something that would have changed my decision going in if I knew how this would look.

The blind fabric is very thin and cheap looking. Plus it doesn’t block out the light very well. I hate it and it looks worse than the cheap blinds I had up originally

These blinds look great but there are a few issues. The wall anchors they provide are the worst one's I've comes across in my lifetime. You put them in and they just spin. When you put pressure on the screw, the anchor then pushes further into the wall becoming useless. I tried four times and each was a fail. I used others I had in stock with no problem.Once hung the sides of the blinds are ugly. You see the raw wood edge and the metal hook and washer which holds the blinds up. The wood should be painted either black or the same color as the blind. If not, they should add a piece of fabric to hid all this. It makes it look unprofessional.The magnet strips seem decent but you get what you pay for, We wanted no strings so a child could not potentially become entangled.Product is below average in my eyes, I wouldn't purchased again.

I love these shades! For this price point, the clean style works well with any decor and they are safe for children or pets in the house.I needed shades to go under curtains to block light, insulate windows, and for privacy. However, I have a 2.5-yr-old toddler at home and was concerned with any cords hanging. Truth is, I don't like the look of the cords anyway. I tried a couple of these (in chocolate) in my kitchen first and loved them, so I'm going ahead and buying them for every window in the house! The Mountain Snow does not block as much light as the chocolate, but teamed with curtains, will blackout a room.They are incredibly easy to install. A drill and screwdriver are all that's needed to hang them. I did it with my toddler in the room handing me tools ;-) You will want to take careful measurements before you order to ensure the shade fits properly and looks nice with no gaps.I haven't had the problems some others have reported (creases when first hung or not enough magnets to hold up the shades high enough from the bottom of the window - again an issue easily fixed by measuring correctly)I'm just hoping now the company will expand their color palette? I would love to have more color options!

I ordered 6 of the 33"x64" chocolate shades. The top is 33" but the full shade is actually 32". Wish I had known this prior because I would ordered the next width up.The magnets work great and are very child safe which was my main concern with a toddler.They do block the light very well too-note photo that I took in the afternoon once with flash and once without flash so you can see the difference.

I had gotten these after my little minions, both kids and pets, had destroyed yet another set of blinds. I thought these fabric and magnet ones, without the dangerous tangling strings, would be a great bet! I do so love how they look, for a while. After a few months it is clear that getting white ones was a mistake, dog slobber and kid hands have discolored them. Learn from my mistake. Also, the magnet part to list the shade up to let in more light or to see outside is a bit of a pain. I have often tossed my hands up figuratively speaking (because fussing with the magnet for so long makes one arms hurt if you are a jelly belly like me!) and asked one of the said taller minions to figure it out. It should be no shock why a few of these shades are now broken, the seem popped on one and that same one has the bars coming out one end, it is broken too. If I had to get them again I would get a darker color shade for one and only put them in windows I didn't plan on opening/closing very often!

These blinds are great for my windows that lift open, in our bedroom. I have a vertical blind in the window that slides open. We open them up all summer the lift style window with the vertical vanes rattle in the breeze. So I needed something different but I wanted inexpensive to try out and these are perfect for us. I have them in east windows and the sun is blocked out well in direct morning sun, (not blacked out). They also keep the heat out. I like the plastic grip on the front that you use to lift so you are not touching the fabric to soil it. The magnets sometimes don't grab but just start your lifting over and then they work great. Put it slightly above and slide down gently. Very easy to install. One of them had a defect in the fabric, customer service replaced it with no problems.

I ordered 3 blinds in late September 2021. They were supposed to be 36" wide x 64" long...they were only 35" wide. I opened the blinds when they arrived and they seemed to be approximately the correct size. Unfortunately, I did not put the blinds up on the windows until March 2022 when I was finished renovating. That's when I found out that the blinds were not the size stated in the description or on the box when they arrived. It is now past the return window and the blinds are too small.

I purchased four of these at an awesome sale price, ($8!) and although I wasn't crazy about the color you couldn't go wrong for the price, and actually it ended up looking better than I thought as it matched our maple wood in the kitchen quite nicely. However, the first thing I noticed once we installed the first one was that there were wrinkles in the material and a bend near the top and would have to be steamed out, no big deal. The second thing was when I was coming in from our outside deck about 10 feet from the window, when I shut the deck door the magnet released from the level that I had it on, which means the magnets aren't very strong to stay in place. I would imagine if the window was open and it was a windy day that it would do the same thing as I just shut the door normally. The next thing I noticed was there was a hole in the material which I didn't notice until we had it up and the sun was shining on the window. I added a photo for reference. So we didn't bother to attempt to install the other three we purchased as this was enough for me to want to return. I really wanted to like these, they were simple and served the purpose however the cheap material and poor quality magnets just won't work for us unfortunately. The install was easy and I suppose these could work on a window or something else that needs to be covered but doesn't really have any sort of wind pressure from doors or winds coming through the window as I believe the magnets will still release, so just something to keep in mind; and also not knowing if you'll receive one with a hole. Maybe I just got lucky. I really wanted these to work but I will be returning.

LOVE THIS BLIND. for the window on my door perfectly. Magenta are genius for no strings and keep the look clean.

I used these as a hanging curtain in my bathroom to conceal in wall shelving unit. Works well there. Hides the items on my shelf.
