Christie Digital Systems Lamp 330W UHP/ LWU501i, LW551i, LX601i (Filter Sold Separately) 003-120708-01

This item came well packaged and on time. However, the lamp was very poorly made. It looked like the original, but, on a close inspection, the parts of this replacement do not fit together right. The metal clips around the lens were not flush with the rest of the lamp, and it would not fit all the way into the projector because of how they stick out (picture 1). The lens portion of the lamp also had gaps all around it where the clips hold it in the frame (picture 2). The old lamp was solidly made with no gaps and with flush clips. I'm not sure if this is bad refurbishment or what, but it is not a quality product.

Nov 21, 2016 lamps do not fit the LX601i.Nov 9, 2016, We purchased one unit to make sure it fit and had good quality, which it did.Nov 21, 2016, We purchased two more units. These units did not fit the LX601i. After much analysis we realized the lamp holder was not manufactured to the same specs as the first unit.Finally we had to remove the lights and place them in the old fixtures.Later we noticed that the packaging was different and the printing was different, but same part number.
