Highly recommended! Great build quality. Brightest Bike light I've used or seen.
I regularly ride my bike to work in downtown San Francisco and being seen by cars and buses is my main priority. There have been too many tragic instances of cyclists being hit b/c they weren't visible. With daylight savings time here, it was time I invested in a brighter light to increase my chances of survival. I saw this one and it fit my bill b/c it was stylish relative to other lights out there, portable and waterproof.I couldn't be happier b/c this light is blinding! No joke (960 lumens max) and uses a CREE XML2 T6 LED. There are 2 other settings for 290 and 100 lumens in case you don't want to blind oncoming traffic. This light is awesome b/c you can recharge it using a USB charger and also use it as a flashlight around the house (which will probably be brighter than any other flashlight you have at home). Also the seals for the battery and USB are quite good so I can imagine it can withstand rain or take a dunk in water and still operate as expected. Additionally there is an indicator light to show you how much battery is remaining which can be quite handy if you are going for a long bike ride. Also, it's easily removable from the handlebar mount and light enough to carry with you when you lock you bike up too so you can use it to light your path to wherever you are going.Completely charges in about 4.5 hours and rated for a 2 hour runtime on the highest setting or up to 14 hours on the lowest setting so quite versatile depending on your lighting needs. Oh and you can buy additional rechargeable batteries for this (18650 flat tops) and have them on standby or replacement. Get it, you won't regret it.

It actually is great for running
There is nothing wrong with the light. It actually is great for running. The bike mount, unfortunately, is very poor. It attaches to the handlebars just fine. It's a steep downhill from here. Mounting and unmounting the light is difficult because there really is not enough space to pull the plastic tab down. Ironically, once the light is in in the mount, it rattles around a lot during the ride because there is too much space in the slot (again, this is weird because it was so difficult to get it in). Not recommended.

Great light!!
Great light output! Battery life is great! The downside is the mounting bracket, it's not the easiest to use,but it is secure. I had to remove the battery a few times after a full charge. Sometimes after a full charge when you turn the light on it acts as if it isn't fully charged (blinking red light) simply remove the battery.. wait a few seconds.. reinstall the battery and it works perfect... not a huge deal but can fool some people into thinking the light didn't charge. All in all... a great light for $30!!! Just as bright as lights I have that are 3 times the price! If it had a better, easier mount I would have given it 5 stars!!

Returning!
At first, the light feels premium and works great. It is bright and has a very solid feel. The battery status lights are a great idea but did not seem to be too accurate. The light did not slide in and out of its mount easily, after one charge cycle, the light reads fully charged when plugged in but the battery is empty when you take it off the charger. The light is then stuck in its dimmest mode. Also, not a fan of the strobe mode that flashes way too fast. Not only is it less noticeable at that frequency, but I honestly think that it could cause a seizure in someone who is photoepileptic. Returning for a refund.

Update: Great Light! Only 1 tiny complaint
Update: I now have 3 of these lights on my different bikes. It's easier than moving the mount. The light is still great, but the mount lost them another star. I have to remove the light in the morning when I park my bike and put it back on when I commute home. The mount has gotten much easier to use, but twice now the light has come off with a minor bump. And that is after checking to make sure it is locked on. It needs a secondary latch once it gets "broken in". To their credit, both times the light hit the pavement around 20 MPH and while scratched up a bit, it continues to light the way. P.S. I have mastered the power button and can do it the first time in my sleep...Original review: This light truly is amazing. So far I have used the flash function and it is extremely bright. I can see the street signs a half a mile up flashing to the light, and that is during the day. The battery seems to last well and being an 18650, it is easily replaceable. The one thing that lost it a star for me is that it can be difficult to turn off. You have to hold the button for 2 seconds and let go for it to turn off. Less than 2 seconds and it stays on and more than 2 seconds it changes the output setting. If you hold the button it just shuffles between the different brightness levels. It has taken me as long as 30 seconds to get it just perfect to turn off. Occasionally I get lucky and can do it on the second try. I am aspiring to get it on the first try. Other than that, the light is the best I have ever used!

I love these lights - they're stable, bright, and after a year and a half still go on without a problem.
The light is quite bright on maximum setting, still makes you visible in the lowest, and in medium, that allows you to be visible and see enough terrain and road, lets you ride for 5-6 hours with a good battery. Uses standard 18650 Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, so you can take some extra ones if you go for a long ride.I have two of these lights on my bike a few inches from the center on each side of the stem, the right one pointing a bit downward and illuminating the ground in front of me, and the left one pointing higher, illuminating traffic signs and people, cows, donkeys, black horses, etc. on the side of the road. For a single night ride of a few hours, I just take two extra batteries and I usually don't need to use them. The handlebar mount is also quite good, it allows flexible positioning and maintains the chosen one firmly. Unfortunately one of the slides got somehow a bit loose and it lets the light vibrate, allowing it to move like a single mm, and so it sometimes makes a bit of a vibrating noise. It it isn't really tragic, doesn't worsen the visibility. The other mount's slide is like a new one.
