Sturdy great quality device for cervical stretching and traction at home
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this device as a recommendation from my chiropractor to help control cervical neck spasms. I have a military neck and some lateral curvature so I struggle with spasms and tight muscles in my neck. Using this device daily for 10-15 minutes combined with strengthening and stretching exercises from my physical therapist has helped tremendously improve my condition. I like that the material is rigid and has different risers to customize the height to our body type and height. I use 1 riser after working my way up from no riser. My husband who is much taller than me uses 2 risers. This is a great quality product especially for the price ! Avoid surgery and do your exercises!

VERY dense traction item
As I am new to Chiropractic care -- when purchasing this item I did not realize that the third point description "ERGONOMIC PORTABLE DESIGN Crafted from extra firm, EVA foam to give you the support you need for optimal spinal molding." actually meant "extra firm" as in 'this perhaps isn't the best choice for beginners.' I did not realize how dense/hard it would be. After trying it a few times and having increased neck pain -- I took it to my Chiropractor to see if I was doing something wrong. The advice given was to wait until I am much further along in my treatment to use it. I could not return it as it was past the return date. But I didn't want to waste the purchase so I thought about it and decided that doubling up a layer of bubble wrap (not the tiny ones) and holding it fast to the item with a rubber band works perfectly! Yay! I use it regularly now with no pain. Problem solved. :). A really nice feature is that it comes apart so that it can accommodate the needs of different people.

Great for relieving pain and improving neck curve!
Like other’s have stated, this cervical block is not “comfortable” per say. It starts out feeling pretty hard, and my neck even felt bruised at first. HOWEVER, after the first few days of using twice per day, I noticed great improvement in pain and reduced tension in my neck and shoulders. After a couple weeks I see and feel a difference in the curvature of my neck, and I look forward to using it at the end of a work day. I believe it’s helping my neck to keep it’s alignment therefore reducing my chiropractic visits. I like that it’s firm enough I can even use it to message certain neck muscles just by moving my head. I just use the top piece myself, but different height pieces make it great for anyone to use. I’ll be trying to get my husband to use it as well! Definitely recommend!

Cannot believe how much this block has helped me!
Started using this four days ago. Cannot believe how much relief it’s given me. I hope my experience may help others find some relief.I have an occupational disease (military neck, cervical subluxation, & sprain) that started 6 months ago from poor workspace ergonomics, etc. After moving out of the state, I’ve had issues getting therapy and medical care for over 2 months; the pandemic made this worse. My pain became so unbearable I felt it was necessary for me to research ways to help myself- which encouraged me to find this orthodic block and start home pt. I’m so happy to feel some relief now when I was in tears just five days ago. So this is what I’ve done to help myself:1) Consistency is so important. Stick to it. Little discomfort with the firmness on my neck but to be expected; I’m gently retraining my neck to go the other way. Used the block for 2-3 times a day for ~10 mins. There’s a YouTube video on their website that helps show all the different positions to place it and tips with leg extension. I did some adjusting with the 3 positions of the block to avoid major discomfort until my neck better adjusted to this with time and now I alternate and even use it slightly for massage/pressure point relief. One block or none was best for me - 5’4” and found hard floor and carpet created different tension/pressure. Patience with practicing using this...it will pay off.2) Combination of this with therapy. I got an ice pack in addition to this purchase and started light PT exercises at home. Do your own research with this or ask doctors. I do neck retractions and shoulder/neck stretches as stated from my previous chiropractor and doing clinical research for my case. I ice after each pt session and block use.I’m just so thankful and so blessed this orthodic block exists and I took some initiative to take care of myself to get better I believe in the importance of anatomical biomechanics- even if something so small is off track, it can make a huge impact. Will update later if things change. I hope it helps others the ways it’s helped me.

Gives my spine some breathing room
The media could not be loaded. I feel like my neck pain stems from all the way down my glute. I use this to target all parts of of the spine. Better than my expectation. I won’t say it heals, but it do feel like it gives my spine some breathing room. Hope the video helps. I do use different levels depending on how sensitive my muscles feel around it.
