Q: What plant does the progesterone come from?

I'm not quite sure it's one plant... it may be several as there are several ingredients listed on the label. It does say Progesterone USP and it has Dong Quai in it also as well as many other commonly used plants for peri-menopausal women. It works for me --- I LOVE IT!

Q: Did this help with night sweats? I'm having such a time with those lately. I'm waking up 2 or 3 times a night.

I rarely got hot flashes, and when I did, they weren't very severe. I also take a daily female formula tincture. But what the real impact I feel from the Progesta-Care is a return to feeling brighter, happier, more positive and less moody. More like myself! If you try it, give it a 2-3 month commitment. Q: I recently tried this creme for the first time and for about half the bottle the liquid was very thin. The second was much thicker? Is this common?

I only tried this product once and the creme was thick but I didn't like the sticky feel on my skin. Plus it didn't really work for me. I'm going back to Helen Pensanti's Bio-Identical creme for hot flashes.

Q: Is this a "Bio-identical" progesterone?

I don't think so. I don't have it anymore. I bought a bio identical this time (Bountiful Bird) and it doesn't seem to work as well as the Life Flo.
