SONAX(230200-755 Wheel Cleaner Full Effect - 16.9 fl. oz. - 2 Pack

I like this product cause it does exactly what it advertises very well. My 2 complaints are the price of it and the smell of it being my biggest complaint. DO NOT apply this to your car without wearing gloves you will want to vomit because the smell will linger on your hands for hours. This stuff is great at its job just the smell is unbearable.

I tried removing baked on sand from the previous summer with warm water and dawn and nothing happened. I wanted to give them a pre cleaning before going in with the Sonax. Definitely not necessary! The Sonax broke down the sand and made my OZ's shine like new. I will never use or even bother to try another cleaner for my wheels ever again.

Smells a bit like Nair when working on brake dust but the results are with it.

I've used a LOT of wheel cleaners over the years. I was lucky to receive one of the Sonax Wheel Cleaners for free with my Winter rims I purchased last year. I was blown away at how well this penetrates and removes dirt and grime and brake dust! Most the products I've used required a ton of post cleanup after spraying and washing the RIMs. With Sonax you can see the product working the moment you spray it on your wheels! After pressure washing the RIM look pretty clean but still require some additional cleaning but not much. I'll probably be sticking with this product from here on out. It's a little pricey but worth the money. The only downside is the rather pungent smell! It definitely smells pretty funky but maybe that's why it works so well!

Had high expectations for this wheel cleaner.The good:- It works reasonably well- Seeing it turn red/purple when it contacts with ferrous metals is neatThe bad- It smells bad, I don't expect a wheel cleaner to have a pleasant smell, but this stuff smells like rotten eggs/sulfur that's had something acidic poured on it, and then left out in the sun for a while- It doesn't clean wheels any more effectively than more common/ordinary wheel cleaners. Eagle One A-Z is my benchmark for wheel cleaners; Sonax Full Effect, performs similarly, but for 3 times the cost but without the color interaction and with the aforementioned questionable odor.- You still have to scrub the wheel to get it clean; to be fair *many* wheel cleans claim to be spray-on-hose-off, but I've encountered none that actually live up to that claim. Overall it's an okay wheel cleaner, it does clean your wheels okay, but for the price I was expecting something better. Not a bad product, it's just that you can buy other products that offer the same level or performance for noticeably less money.

Bought a used car (8 years old), with wheels that were NEVER cleaned before. It took a whole bottle to get the wheels clean, plus a lot of elbow grease!Once clean, a monthly light spray and brushing after 5 minutes keep the wheels clean!Note: If the wheels have glue residue from balance weights, use MEK to remove the glue.
