Good machine. It takes 22.3mm blades and 20mm standard blades.
I have a large concrete slab to cut down. It's working well. This saw is quieter and lighter than my petrol saw which I struggle with due to the weight. It cuts just as well. I can manage it despite my bad back! The supplied orange 300 mm blade is not great but cuts OK. There is not much diamond compound on it. Some reviews complain it only takes 22.3 mm blades but this is not the case. The 22.3 driving boss on the blade spindle is reversible and the other side is for 20mm blades. I put an OX 20x300 mm concrete blade on which cuts better. Its a real bonus it takes both sizes of blade. I got the standard dry version but it was simple to remove the blanking plugs in the guard and poke some silicone tube through to water cool it. It's seen quite a bit of use in the past couple of weeks. I hope it lasts

Just the job
Lightweight and easy to handle with a great grip. Just ensure that you get the right blade for the job. I used it to cut porcelain slabs with a diamond blade which cut the porcelain paving slabs with ease.

Fairly quiet, but very very heavy!
Ok, so I bought this to replace my Makita DPC6410 which failed due to the spark plug threads stripping out. I use it for cutting metal from cars. It starts, it works. I don't have the dust issues of others, so dust extraction wasn't a problem. The quality of the saw is superb. Odd centre bore size making all of my Makita discs unusable. But this thing is way way heavier than a Sthil or Makita petrol unit making it very difficult to use if you are not strong enough... It's a leviathan folks...

Brilliant little machine
Been using all types of cutting saws all my life and found this one by accident. It makes light work of cutting Indian sandstone DIY project I'm doing at the moment 💪👍5 star's.

Poor build quality - electric shocks after just 4 weeks!
The saw works very well, easy to use and great cutting. The water-based dust suppression works well too. What is a bit worrying is how much water-dust sludge gets sucked into the motor/brushes - seems likely this will kill the motor sooner rather than later. But...Problem: the saw I bought came with a manufacturing fault. This meant the user got electric shocks from the machine and the RCD did not trip. The cause was poor assembly meaning the main 240v live wire was earthing into the handle. Annoyingly this happened just outside the Amazon 30-day returns period but luckily the Evolution CS is very responsive and offer a 7-10 day turn around on inspection/repair. Sadly it looks like I'll need this now and later when the motor goes. You get what you pay for so make sure you have a backup saw.

Much better than a 9 inch angle grinder for cutting concrete.
I got this tool to cut paving blocks and to trim a long length of concrete coping. It performed the job very well and proved much easier to use than my old 9 inch angle grinder. The supplied diamond blade cuts smoothly with no more than the weight of the machine needed to progress the cut. The ergonomics are good and the soft-start feature is very welcome. I added a mini bubble level to assist with perpendicular cuts - see photo.
