Great for our active family.
Really happy with this sunscreen. The price we purchased at was comparable if not lower than some of the other sticks we had tried off Amazon. It smells really good and rubs in a lot easier than the other sticks. I use this for my kids and keep one in the car for the times we forget before getting out of the house in the morning and it hasn't melted in the hot desert sun. Additionally, we are up at 5,000+ feet and they haven't been even the slightest red with this product. We spend an average of 4-5 hours a day outside hiking and playing and swimming and I don't have to reapply. Will purchase more when the time comes.Just in case it helps, I actually purchased this after my own research. I was NOT compensated in any way. (I get really annoyed with the reviewers who were compensated).

Goes on smoothly, has an unexpected advantage (see review)
Really good zinc sunscreen. Goes on very smoothly; just keep it in a warm place so the stick softens a bit, which will make it apply much more evenly on the skin. There's a nice, mild vanilla scent. I only use this on my face, under makeup, and the unexpected advantage was the slight white cast under my foundation, which "brightened" my skin and almost looked like I had used a professional application of highlighter! This tube will go a long way with me this summer. It stays on well, and I didn't have to keep checking it.

GREAT sunscreen for the face!
These sunscreen sticks are incredible. They are the only thing I found that worked at keeping my kids' faces from burning last summer. We had tried regular sunscreen and even other sunscreen sticks but they kept getting burnt until this! The product itself is very white and can go on thick and stay white but it's easy enough to rub it in and not look like a ghost! The two pack is handy as we keep one in the pool bag and another in the bag we use for the lake. The two sticks lasted us most of last summer, a beach trip, lake trips and more and I just ordered more to make sure we didn't find ourselves without this in the middle of this summer! Worth every penny to not have our kids' faces burnt!

It's ok for a back up
The bad: it's thick & pasty and the smell is not pleasant (which isn't bad for adults, but the kids don't like wearing it). Applying it is a little more intensive than I would like for a stick sunscreen- since it's thick and pasty, you need to spread it around with your fingers/hand in order to apply it. The good: it's a nice size for carrying in your purse or sports bag.

Smells like summer!
This sunscreen is scented like a great vacation! I am super pleased with the price and the quality. I first apply a thin layer of olive oil infused with ozone and then glide the stick around my face followed with Jan Marini mineral BBcream. It leaves a nice airbrushed finished that lasts all day. There is a slight white to the product which seems to almost disappear when warmed up... but if I was having photographs taken I would not wear this sunscreen as it might reflect the light and make my face pale (although this is untested, just a hunch). I love that it's organic and I intend on buying more. There are other expensive physical sunscreens I've come across (I am an esthetician) but this one is my go to choice as I recently had a microneedling treatment with PRP. Hope this helps.

The smell is just plain wrong...
I don't know how so many people were able to say that this smells good. I just couldn't stand the smell. Some people describe it as a vanilla scent, others as play-dough - maybe it's a form of rorschach test for odors! But for me, it was unbearable and I stopped using it after two attempts. (It's also chalky-looking on the skin & hard to spread...)

Not bad
It feels kind of like applying a glue stick to your skin, but with some effort, it rubs in clear. Small price to pay for saving the reefs.Update 3/28--Since using this more frequently, I think I have the method of application down! If you warm the tube up for a bit, or even apply the tube first to your hands and then to your body, it works like a dream! It feels really nice on my skin, and I love that it's safe for the environment!

I'm not terribly sensitive to smells
It's alright. I'm not terribly sensitive to smells, but there is a metallic scent to this. It's also chalky feeling, which might be common for a stick sunscreen.
