Adapter fits with some work
This adapter doesn't fit a 05 kia spectra out of the box. I needed to purchase some spacers from my local hardware store and enlarge two holes to make it like a factory fit.

leaves a 1 inch gap at bottom of where the original radio was , does fit and hold radio , wish i went with the metra insted

DO NOT BUY!!! OMFG!!! DO NOT BUY!!!
DO NOT BUY!!! 2006 Kia Spectra SX. BOSS BV8974B. This product fits neither! Even after extensive modification! It leaves a nice big gap at least 1/2" if totaled from both top and bottom! And, by the way, the BOSS BV8974B is a complete piece of $h!t. That drop-down/tilt-up face...? It wouldn't work on two seperate orders! They won't get a 3rd chance to F-up my day! I can't say anymore without using every last foul word known to man! I am so livid over the quality and fit of both of these products!

Just no...
So i ordered this dash kit for my 2006 Kia spectra, which i would strongly recommend against. The fitment was terrible and barely fit a head unit to begin with, not to mention when sitting in the dash there was about a 2mm gap all around the kit. The kit was labeled correctly but clearly was not the correct kit for a 2006 Kia Spectra.
