The material and construction of the pants is very good. They seemed like they would have been very comfortable and would have served their purpose well. However, the first pair I ordered were the correct waist size according to ExOfficio sizing, and the same indicated size as virtually all of my other pants and jeans, but they were a size to small. They were appropriately baggy in the legs and other areas, but they were snug in the butt and crotchal region. My suggestion is to order a size up if you want a comfortable fit; unless, of course, you like the tight-pants look that leaves little to the imagination in the front, and make even people with a flat posterior look like they have some shape back there.Can't comment on the bug-repelling qualities, as I couldn't wear them. Will update once I have returned these and gotten the correct size.

Very long legs so be prepared to tuck into socks. Seems to work well in repelling ticks. Haven’t yet laundered enough to test if retains anti-tick effectiveness.

These pants have full mesh panels on the inside of the legs. Really? These are supposed to be for keeping mosquitoes and ticks off! Not a good design and the description and photos do not indicate this feature.

So far so good, but won't know for sure til I wear them this summer in Africa. Like the general fit, and they are definitely lightweight which is what I was looking for.

In terms of the size and style, it fits well. But not sure about the bug repellent property. I still see mosquitos flying around.

Perfect for travel, and no bugs to worry about.

Used on a 100 mile AT hike for tick and poison ivy protection. Vented so well I forgot I wasn't wearing shorts.

Just love this pants. Not my first one, not going to be my last one either.
