This product is exactly the replacement product I needed. The color matched perfectly. This is NOT a beginner project. Before you tackle this project, background knowledge of upholstery and car auto body is helpful. I had help from my partner who has auto body experience and I have some upholstery experience. As a team, we completed both doors in 2 days (a few hours each day). I used rubber bonded cement and clamps to keep everything tight until it dried. Take your time!! Its not perfect but its far better than it used to be. This material is thicker than the original covering. I was able to keep the original padding and only replaced the the cover on both doors. YouTube videos helped get me started. Good Luck!

It looks OEM. Nobody will be able to tell it is not original. For my tan 2010 CR-V it is a perfect match. When I saw it I said wow, really good match. My upholstery guy said perfect match. BTW, I highly recommend having the upholstery shop put it on. Honda is fanatical about assembly, even on door panels and armrests. My guy said it was quite a bit of work. Anyhow, I could not be more pleased. My arm rests looks as good as the day I took it off the lot new. Highly recommend.

This product made it possible to replace worn out door material on our Honda CR-V. With careful, patient effort this can be accomplished by an untrained person. The fit and stitching was perfect, with some extra material to be trimmed away.Some things I found helpful were: 1. Make sure to have double back tape, a sharp pair of scissors, and a tracing pencil. 2. Find on YouTube the videos of someone showing how to remove the door panel and armrest and another person replacing the material. 3. Give yourself at least 3 hours to do both doors.This method is more cost effective and less wasteful than replacing the armrest or door panel.You can do it!

These went on amazingly well. they are not cut and without proper adhesive impossible to install like factory. I used a staple gun to hold them in place after pulling them taught against the armrests. this worked very well although the staples i used were to long so they came through the leather side, pulled them back a tad and they hold well. cannot see any marks on the outside. Highly recommend.

Watch the you-tube videos before attempting. The color match is good, but the replacements are not as “padded” as originals. I suggest adding a double layer of felt. Use the spray-on glue - it’s a big help in smoothing the piece. It also helps if you’re handy. Overall, very happy with the finished project.
