Does this receiver have HDR??

Yes HDR 10 and Dolby Vision was added I believe late 2017

Does this receiver compare to sound quality such marantz or pioneer elite, ie. high current output design?

I’ve owned a few upper end Marantz and I feel the Sony sounds very clean, not bright but clean...the mic setups are nice with the dual mic.....and I thought that one set positioning would be a drawback compared to the multi mic positioning of the marantz but I was wrong the Sony’s setup is nice and gets the job done...Sound quality is very nice and I feel it’s better due to lack of Bluetooth- WiFi and all the other things that can affect sound quality to some degree... it does have Ethernet so it connects online and also will work with the Sony tv IOS app as well......

Does this receiver have 3D player ?

Yes it can decode 3D video. I have my Sony 4K Blu-ray player connected to the Blu-ray input and It has worked perfectly fine for me.
