Ganesha Incense Cedarwood Gold Premium Natural Ayurvedic Incense (100g) Made in India by Artisan Incense Makers

This is the second time I have ordered Ganesha incense because the incense is just amazing. However, packaging and distribution is clearly a problem, and I will not spend this kind of money again on this product. To elaborate: the packaging on my first order (Sandalwood) was unsealed -- the seal ripped wide open from end to end -- and the incense sticks were disintegrating inside. I figured it was a fluke, and since the sticks burned so beautifully despite being half degraded, I didn't complain. This second order (Cedarwood) came to me the same way: seal ripped wide open with incense disintegrating inside. I am giving only 2 stars because I feel at this price point, I should receive sealed, unused merchandise that is not falling apart. I realize incense is delicate and some disintegration is expected -- but the packaging on this product is incredibly flawed, allowing for significant degradation/disintegration. Moreover, the broken seals - which are ripped from end to end -- indicate someone is opening the item before shipment.

I cannot express enough praise for this beautiful incense; the aroma and quality are outstanding. The customer service from the company, Ganesha Incense, was also great. I contacted them prior to purchase and they responded immediately and answered my questions. They also included some samples of other types of incense (Nag Champa, Blue Lotus and Agarwood). It took just under a month to receive in the US from India ,but I was aware of that at the time of order and the incense is of such good quality that the wait is not an issue. If you are looking for a high quality incense, I would definitely recommend Ganesha.

I've been using Ganesha Incense for a couple of years, and tried out already 6 of their scents, and I love them all! My favorite is the Gold Sandalwood though each of them has a unique scent that is not overwhelming (as a lot of Indian incenses are) and leaves a wonderful after-smell in my home. I've received many compliments from my friends and yoga students about them. And though it feels pricey to purchase, when considering that most other brands sell packs of 15-18 sticks, Ganesha Incense is a great quality-price deal for 80 sticks;)

Hate the fragrance. I usually purchase Nag Champa from this company, which I love. Decided to try a new scent. Did not care for this one at all. Additionally, I was very displeased with the condition of the incense. The container had been opened (seal was broken) and it was not full.

I previously used the Ganesha Sandalwood and was quite impressed. They were out, so I ordered the Cedarwood Gold. It is equally fantastic. I do not believe you can go wrong with any "flavor".

I was expecting a sharper cedarwood smell. I was pleasantly surprised at the rich, woodsy smell. This was a recommendation from the seller, so glad I took the chance and ordered this! I think I detect a little vanilla when this burns? Definitely befitting of the "gold" label.

I have burned many different brands of incense since the 60's. This brand is definitely a better quality. I have used Ganesha's Nag Champa, Cedarwood and Radharani. All three produced soft, distinct and complex aromas that create a natural fragrance. Friends frequently comment when entering my home how good it smells. I will definitely prurchase this brand again!

These are the best. Nice and woody, gives the house an open feel. Try the Sandalwood for my absolute favorite.
