Good investment but won’t last forever
Work great but this is the second set in 2 years. I think sitting out in the sun causes the plastic to lose strength. Last set broke in half when putting on. Hope the second set will last longer but overall a cheap investment to make

Drill a hole and attach them to each other
These fit my 225 hp Honda outboard. It's fairly common to pull the clips off and drop one in the drink. Hence this purchase. To prevent a future loss I drilled a hole in each one and attached them to each other with a length of cord rope. When in use the clips lay below the motor and don't get lost.

They Do the Job
I use mine with my Honda 225hp on my 21ft AlumaCraft and they work great holding the outboard steady when trailered and the lower unit on a transom saver.

Does the job!
We use these on our pontoon outboard to keep it from moving back and forth while hauling it around. They are easy to install and remove and definitely do the trick. We’re happy!

Fit perfectly!
I have an 09' Bass Cat Pantera II with a Mercury Optimax 200 and these fit perfectly. I even drilled a hole in the end of each one and attached a cord to keep them together when stowing. They do the job they are designed for - keeping the engine from turning to one side or other while towing. I also love the 'hi-vis orange' so they are easy to find and don't get lost... Highly recommend!
