The rubber ends of my shower curtain tension rod were no longer working well enough to stay put. The wall side of the guard is tacky, but not too sticky, so you can re-position the guards while in use.The shower curtain hasn't come down since I put it up using these wall guards at the rubber ends of the rod. Update: The rod fell again today-within a week of installing the wall guards...I think it it the rod and NOT the guards. Ordered a new rod.

We screwed these in to the wall before mounting a baby gate to make it more secure. They have a little hole in the middle, making it very easy to secure them to a wall. They are thick pieces and feel like they will hold up for a long time. We've had them installed for about 8-9 months and they look exactly the same as the day we installed them.

We bought these not to protect the wall, but to extend the pressure feet on the top of the gate. We live in an old house with very deep baseboards and couldn't find a gate that was able to accommodate them on its own. These did the trick about as well as could be hoped for. The have a nice satisfying soft rubber texture too, and were easy to use.

See accompanying pictures of both types of wall guards.They both work great. A definite recommend.

Having just had the walls painted I was apprehensive to put back the doggies gate as it would mark the walls again. These wall guards protect the walls and base board and enable the gate to sit lower than the usual wall guards. Very happy with my purchase. They arrived promptly too, which is always a bonus. Definitely recommend !

We bought a pressure mounted gate with a swing open portion to go across a wide opening when we got a puppy to keep him out of bedrooms. It worked great but the problem was that it would not stay in place because of the curved baseboards. These have worked perfectly to solve the problem and the gate stays put.

I haven't had to adjust the gate since I bought these, my God does it make a difference, the big top ones help but still cave in or become crooked, my daughter pull's on the gate with all her weight but it's still in place after 2 months!!

Ended up sending it back because I did not need it. Product seemed to be excellent quality, though.
