Q: Are these pants thin enough to wear in very hot/humid weather (as bug protection)? Or will they be too hot? Thank you.

I personally don’t find these pants warmer than any other hiking pant (and thinner than some other pairs I own). I wear them year-round. If you’re OK in pants in hot weather, I think you will likely be fine wearing the solstice pant. There is no vent.
