I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and how easy it is to use. But, most importantly, you need to be familiar with how to care for cast iron. Cast iron needs to cleaned a special way and "seasoned" on occasion to maintain it's non-stick surface and prevent rust. This items is made to be assembled and disassembled so you can season the cast iron pieces in the oven. Even if it's rusted, you can probably restore it. Just google it. The press comes with a free cookbook, which also has a section on caring, maintaining and storing your cast iron. As someone else mentioned, don't use the paper in the press. It will stick. I didn't need to use any paper in my press. If your dough starts to stick to the plates, you can either spray the plates with oil (maybe the press needs to be re-seasoned) or you need to roll your dough in enough flour first. Hope this review helps! I've made Asian dumplings with this already, can't wait to try out other flat breads. My only complaint is that the box was torn when I received it. I was worry the product was damaged, but it was fine.

The press in general is good. The parchment papers which come with it is literally (trash) the dough sticks with it if it's heated, its not suitable for heating or baking.If you are planning to buy the product، buy a separate parchment papers for baking.
