Synthetic Sable Or synthetic brushes are they good also for ink colors or Acriliq colors ?

Ink would be fine, but acrylics won't work. They will kill your brush. this brush is way to soft for an acrylic medium. They are usually meant for watercolor or ink. I definitely wouldn't use it for acrylics.

Can this brush be used for gouache?

I use watercolor and gouache paints interchangeably with my brushes. So, yes. BUT, I never use those brushes for acrylics or oils.

Is the tip of the quill brush suppose to be lose?

YES, its supposed to be that way.... this mop brush is super versatile allowing you to make many different kinds of watercolor marks. For example, a loose tip can be flattened to make a mark very much like a flat brush, while holding the brush vertical will give you a fine line like a rigger brush and of course it can be used to make a large wash because of all the paint it naturally holds. These marks can more easily be made because it's a non-ridge brush.

How do I decide which size brush to buy? 4 or 6?

The size of brush you chose is relative to the size of painting you normally produce. The #4 should be adequate for 1/4 sheets (11"x 15") and smaller. Any larger paper would require at least a #6.
