GL1 Innovative Broad-Beamed Solar Garden/Path Light -Covering 16 Foot Diameter Area (200 FT2) -Working All Year Round All Night Round in Most Areas -Much Brighter Than Normal Garden Light

I live in beautiful Austin, Tx. where we get hot sunny days as well as cloudy rainy days. I xeriscape my front yard with rocks and several kinds of cactus plants and needed some subtle night lights for the walkways. These solar lights are fantastic! The long cords allowed me to place the lights in shady spots while placing the little solar panel in sunny spots. The light that is cast is warm but bright. Cast very pleasant lighting on the plants as well as lighting the paths. Excellent product and looks really sharp. I only needed three placed strategically in the yard not to over-do it.

Does the job. Could do with a longer power cable.

I purchased two 07 April 2017. One is dead already. I thought maybe water got in where the plugs join because we had a lot of rain two days ago, so I sprayed CRC on it yesterday. Still dead. I read that it has a 1 year warranty, so this is my next step, to see how well they handle the warranty.It does shine from dusk to dawn, as advertised, but it is not as bright as I had hoped nor does it cover 16'. It is an attractive light though.

Works so far but the area it lights is very very small, i have other style led solar lights that cover much more area for a much cheaper cost.

This light works! I had to attach two extra cables to put the panel in an area which had sun, wasn't sure if that would be too far for the light to work. In Portland Oregon there isn't alot of light and I needed a water resistant light... Working like a charm, fits in unobtrusively, looks nice. Had to order the extra cord but was only $6.00 for an extra 15 feet. Expect it to work a long time since no switches or other parts to stop working. The cord for extra extension was MicroSolar WR1 Small 16.4 Feet Extension Wire --- Suitable for Floodlight (FL1, FL2, FL3), Motion Sensor Light (SL1,SL2), Spotlight (SP1, SP2), Shed L on amazon.

Worked great, for the first couple of months. After that, the light would be off before dawn. Another couple of months later, the light is dead by midnight.

I've only had these (I bought 2) up for a few days but so far I'm very happy with them. I have a lot of shade & literally I don't have any spot that is sunny most of the day. I placed the solar panels in a spot that gets at least a few hours of sun & so far the lights are lasting all night which small solar path lights never did. These give off nice soft lighting for my sidewalk. Can't yet comment on longevity but appear sturdy enough.Update May 2019:Still going strong. Very happy with them. Too bad they are no longer available. I would like to get more.

In today's world it is hard to tell how good a solar light actually is. This particular light works all night even in winter. It gives a nice wide path of light. I highly recommend it!!
