Says it’s lead free in the description. I believe it. Guess if you need more proof you need to get a lead testing kit and see for yourself. Good luck.

This is for the toothpaste holder also?

I think it could also hold toothpaste tubes. Personally, I prefer the look of the holder without the silver top. That way, you'd have room for a number of brushes and also a tube or two of toothpaste.

I don't remember, but it sure is pretty. The top comes off so it is easy to clean and keep sparkling.
