Arus Women's Hooded Classic Bathrobe Turkish Cotton Robe

I was so impressed with this robe, I was going to order another one in a different color. It is just as pictured; a weighty terry cloth, seemed really well made out of the box. However, after the wash--to remove the odor--I discovered a hole in the fabric inside the hood. I don't know if it arrived like this or if it happened in the washer. I am good with a needle and thread and I mended it. So, now I am waiting to see if this was an aberration or if the robe will fall apart in the near future.I will update the review in a couple of months.

This robe is just what I was looking for. It can be used as lounge wear or to wear after showers. Fits as expected, super comfy and warm.

I was looking for something we could wear out to our hot tub and back for the cooler temperatures. This is a towel-like material, so it's perfect for absorbing the water after. The hood is large enough to cover the whole head as well. I didn't want to have to keep track of which one was small and which was big, so I bought the L/XL for both myself (5'4 125) and my husband (6' 180) and they work great. I would buy these again for this purpose.

I have been having to take two baths a day due to a health condition and I’m wearing kinesiotape, so when I get out of the shower I’ve been really needing too much dry time, and a blow dryer, believe it or not. I hate blow drying my body and figured there’s gotta be something better! Then I remembered good ol’ fashioned terry cloth bathrobes, so I ordered this one.The blue color is really nice; not quite navy due to a nice green cast which makes it a bit teal looking. Lovely!However, I was disappointed at the thinness of the fabric. It is not warm at all. Also, it is huge. Im only 5’1” inch and 105 pounds. The shorter length robe is a perfect ankle length on me though the pocket are not quite within my reach unless I belt it tight and pull it up. It’s so big ne that I must wrap it from hip to hip in order for it be closed. The bottom on the sleeve is simply too wide and lets a lot of air in, not optimal for a person who lives in New England! The hood is also too short, just big enough for me to not be uncomfortable in it. Considering how large this robe is and my height, it’s pretty strange. But I didn’t notice anyone else mentioning it in reviews, so maybe it’s a one-off mistake.The fabric is highly absorbent and I love that its’ 100% cotton.I could have returned it, but it’s nice enough. I doubt I’ll find a better robe at this price point.Added: After wearing for three nights, it’s looking ratty. This wasn’t actually dirty cheap; if it was I wouldn’t be irritated about the fact that it’s got pulls in it pretty much everywhere (the photo doesn’t show it well). I have only worn it in bed and in the bathroom in the morning.It’s not like I’ve been hiking in it. Much poorer quality than I realized at first. My Target towels are far better qualify fabric than this robe.

I bought this bathrobe (Small/Medium size) for my wife, who is 5'7", and it fits somewhat large, but it's ok, as it covers also her calves and keeps her warmer.The bathrobe is not too thin to not feel warm, and not too thick to feel heavy; the cotton feels good on the skin: it's very comfortable but it could be slightly softer. The pockets are very wide, which is great.The bathrobe was slightly smelly when it arrived but I didn't have any issues washing it in the washing machine.Considering that the quality is good but the bathrobe is not inexpensive, I think it deserves 4 stars.

I am 5' and got the L/XL and it fits as expected based on the measurements. It just about reaches my ankles and I wanted to ensure there was no gaping of the front crossover when moving to let the cold in so although I could have gone at least a size down for it to exactly fit like a real outfit, I prefer to be comfortably enveloped when it comes to a out-of-the-bath robe. The terry towel cloth quality was exactly as I expected based on the pictures and is a very nice light towel weight and quality --- so much better than another robe I bought that looked like ratty, ragged, uneven loop lengths and much thinner weight that I would never buy even when buying a summer weight towel. I hope this holds up to repeated washing, all these robes tend to be expensive but are so nice to have in winter.

It’s a comfy robe that I’ve been living in since I’ve became a new mom, it’s a great bath robe that absorbs just like a towel. I’m 5’2 and it goes just about an inch below my knees. Reason why I put 4 star instead of 5 is that this color bleeds when being washed even when using cold water. My partner washed it with our towels and it changed the color of our already colored towels. Plus it sheds a bit which isn’t ideal especially as a breastfeeding mother who is worried about getting red fuzz in their baby’s mouth. But overall I’m happy with this robe and would buy again with caution on bleeding colors.

I ordered 2 robes,1 men's 1 women's. Both are as advertised, except that they are actually the same robe.Both are LG/XL and all numbers on the tags are the same also this women's robe is slightly cheaper, save some money it's the same as the men's. These should be unisex at the same price.

Thought the quality was poor, expected a thicker heavier cotton robe but this is quite thin, colour burgundy doesn't look as rich as the image shown. I ordered a S/M which is my general size, I'm just over 5ft 7", slim build, but this robe is huge on me, thought it might be unisex, well it fits my partner better than me who is a lot broader. It just looked all wrong on me, too big across the body, the shoulders and arms.

I’m very pleased with my purchase. I bought it for my boyfriend in navy colour and it looks and feels very good. He’s M-L but I got size L-XL because I read a few reviews advising to go for one size more and it was a good decision as it fits great (for me a bathrobe fitting great means a bit ‘big’ so you feel comfortable and you’re nicely wrapped up). I guess it would fit ok to someone with a standard size L but this is just my impression.

Bad quality cotton! I bought it one year ago and it has already thinned and in some places even torn with holes.
