It's a great pasta for all sauces but particularly stands up well when served with parmesan only.
Short of having real skill at making fresh spinach pasta, the DeCecco spinach spaghetti has the best consistency and flavor of any dried spinach pasta on the market. You should try this experiment: Make plain pasta from DeCecco and the same amount of this spinach pasta. Now butter both and lightly salt. Put shaved parmesan on both and test while they're both warm. You will note a difference in the spinach pasta. It can stand its ground really well against the cheese and imparts a slightly different taste. Subtle but real! Have been eating this green pasta for years. Always good quality.

Good Pasta!
I was not happy with the shipping of this product at ALL, but Amazon took care of it and it's all good! The Pasta itself is very good. I used to buy another brand but for some reason they stopped making it, so I tried this and liked it! I like mixing green with regular Pasta and this mixes well. I also feel better knowing we are getting vegetables.

American retailers sell 400 kinds of white noodles. DeCeeco sells stunning variety.
Food retailers never "push" anything - they stock what they feel is already known. So we get white noodles that are all the same. DeCecco has some shelf space but selling into big chains is a frustration. Buying online (case qtys) is the answer - and their goodies are top drawer but NOT top price. Hard to understand - big chains in my area sell 400 kinds of bread - all white but pretending to use variety of wheat, sources, grains, wrapping, etc. They offer maybe 4 varieties of noodle type - nothing really different. 80 kinds of frozen pizza. Where did they go off the track? Well, a couple of cases from DeCecoo and we are set for a year or so. Chain groceries are dismal - three miles of breakfast sloop with sugar and about 1 yard of shelf space for interesting pasta. They might as well sell cocaine.
