Wyze is the best home do-it-yourself alarm and monitoring system. So reasonable, and easy to install.

This is the way to go
Having installed security systems for many years, my daughter turned me on to this system. I love it! It has a simple app, easy to set up and program, and it texts me every time someone comes in a door, which is really what I wanted. I am not paying any monthly charge! I added the door camera, and that works perfectly and has a great picture. Every time someone comes to the door, I get a text and it records a clip of their coming, still no monthly charge. I added some water leak detectors afterwards and they were just as easy to set up. If I did not already have my $2,000.00 system in my other house, this would absolutely be what I would install. I am sure that you can add monitoring for a monthly cost, but after so many years of living with customers that were disappointed with the time it took for police to respond, I would rather just get my text, and then call the police if it is a real break-in.On the camera, I like also that at any time, I can open the app, click on the camera and see my front door AND talk and listen. That is so nice. I also use the "share" feature, and my daughter and I can see each other's door cameras and get notified when someone approaches the door. That is very cool. (all still no monthly charge!)

Good product but with some quality issue
I have been using these sensors for several years for my home security system and like it. I recently bought and installed one more set. It's surprising that two of the three new sensors have some issue that they drain brand new batteries completely within one day or two. I returned the set and got a replacement. The replacement set all work fine.

Unreliable, Money Grab and Horrible Customer Service
I had 10+ cameras (indoor and outdoor), 30+ sensors, 4 Hubs; Home Monitoring, Cam Plus, and Cam Protect Services at one point.They used to be awesome. New company with some bugs but great customer service. I recommended them to everyone. But as of today...- Money Grab and Worst Customer Service. I've signed up to their annual Cam Protect for one camera, used it for a few months and then they disabled it saying that I can't be a Home Monitoring and Cam Protect user at the same time. It was THEIR system bug that allowed me to subscribe and pay for it. I then asked for my money back over their email customer services and they sent me the same BS-scripted response every time I sent a note back. I understand that there could be bugs, but are you really stealing my money like this?- Video recognition. Every time that I needed some footage from one of the outdoor cameras when we had some security issues, there was NO recording. Their video sensor (PIR effective area) to start recording only works with HALF of the image, if something happens on the other half NOTHING will be recorded. So, we had property destroyed and no way to have proof of who did it.- Disconnects. The Hubs are continuously disconnecting from WIFI. Especially in the middle of the night. So, no protection when that happens.- Time wasted. I've had to reconfigure everything 50+ devices at least 3 times because of the disconnection and errors.- Random errors in the middle of the night at specific time intervals. Or motion detected when nothing is there activated alarm multiple times at night or sent Push notifications to alert of nothing happening.I canceled all my services today.Save yourself many headaches and frustrations and pick another company, even if it's a little bit more expensive. The most important feature of a security system is its consistency in delivering results when needed.
