This replaced my eight year old 48" x 30" welcome mat. Between the occasional rain and our brutal summer sun, it had simply faded and died. This particular that was a little longer and I thought it would fit in front of my double doors easier. As far as that's concerned, I was not wrong. It's definitely long enough. However, I wish it were a little deeper; kind of like 24 inches.That being said, it is functional, I like the funky letters, and while I don't think it will last as long as my other one, I still like the overall look.
