Optrel1008.000 Welding Caps, 50.8 mm x 114.3 mm, Black

bought one of these to replace my ADF jackson helmet that finally died. i received it quickly from weldingforless and they where great to deal with. after about 8 hours of use i will say being able to flip up even a helmet does have its benefits depending on what your welding on. because i had to fully remove the helmet and set it down to reclamp or move around. the only other small issue is the delay is not adjustable so if your puddle is still hot it will stay dark and i couldn't easy see to move on to next spot to weld so it slowed me down a little waiting for lense to go clear. i used it for lots of mig welding and in very tight spaces in awkward positions. it did not fall off easily and its light weight so that's a bonus also never had sparks on my head like a traditional helmet because my head is covered by the hat. overall i like it and will continue to use it.

For table work this rocks. Quick on and off which is what I do when working. Optrel has best AD lenses too.
