i do not know about a Dremel. I use a regular drill.

If the material won't move as you drill, you might be able to. But if it moves I think it would twist and rap around the drill.

Q: Is it possible to widen a hole in a glass jar using the same bit. Thank You

The same size but will not make the hole any bigger but you could probably use a Dremel to sand around it and make it bigger. Depending on how much bigger you want it, it may take a bit of time.
