Great quality, yet incredibly light
I did a fair bit of research before buying this brand of bag as there were a selection of similar products offering much the same. The reason I opted for Bago was that all the reviewers seemed very surprised and satisfied not only with how compact the bags were folded and then their expanded capaciousness, but with the quality of materials and finish. If any of you have read reviews of a very similar product by a different brand you may have noticed that while it scores quite highly, in a fair few of the reviews the zips get slated for breaking. That was never mentioned in a Bago review and is one of the reasons I chose the bag.Having had it delivered (to my office) I opened the package and it instantly became the centre of attention from my colleagues. They couldn't believe how such a small package could become such a huge bag and at such a reasonable price. I unfolded and refolded it with no problems and once I saw how easy it was to 'repack' I decided to immediately order another for myself along with some packing cubes (also excellent). Two colleagues also asked me to get them some items too and we took advantage of the 15% discount that was in place.I am taking it on a three week road trip in the States and intend to use it as my 'main bag' and pop another inside to use for bringing back 'purchases'. The weight saving over a case is immense, which means I'll be able to take more clothes with me and avoid the need to do much laundry.Although tempted by the blue bag, I chose the black version as it will hopefully mask the dirt and scuffs that accumulate during air travel, however one colleague is very happy with her pink bag and another is delighted with her green rucksack! If you are considering buying this I recommend you watch the video reviews at Amazon and on YouTube as they give you a pretty good idea of the bag's quality. One thing I will say is that on actually holding it in my hands I was far more impressed than I thought I was going to be by the quality of the finish of the stitching and the zips and materials, which all seem excellent.UPDATE 1/09/15: As advised by the manufacturer, I wrote a review (this one) and posted the link to them and they kept their promise and sent me a voucher code for a 'free' packing cube of my choice. I had read some reviews from people saying they didn't ever get a reply, let alone a code in return from Bago customer services, so I was skeptical, especially since it is a US company and all the promotional stuff on their website is geared to Amazon US, not UK. However, I got the code this morning, clicked the link and despite the blurb in the email referring to Amazon US, it took me to the UK website and more importantly, it WORKED! I had to buy something else to qualify for free postage (Amazon's rules, not Bago), so I added a RFID blocking wallet, from their range, but I could equally have added anything from any retailer. The code works for 3 days after they send it, so bear that in mind when sending off your review link to them. I just wanted to post a confirmation of my success as I don't like companies that don't keep their promises and I am pleased to say that this one, despite comments to the contrary from other posters, came good with their promise to me.Update 7/01/16:The bag survived the trip to the States, that's four flights and six airport luggage systems. It was wedged into a very cramped car boot countless times and in and out of hotels and cabins, being packed and unpacked multiple times, all while stuffed completely full. It's also been to Iceland, stashed in coach luggage bays and on a train to Manchester and back. It still looks new and performed very well. I definitely recommend using packing cubes, otherwise the inside of the bag will quickly become a mass of jumbled clothes and possessions - there's no structure to it, so everything will just slide around. My only niggle is that I don't think the shoulder strap is much use if you are filling the bag. I'm not convinced that the connecting rings are suitable to take the strain when the bag is full. They'd probably be better if they were metal, not plastic and if they stitching where they are attached to the bag was more robust. This does mean that the bag is cumbersome to carry for any length of time if walking. Luckily this isn't generally a problem if you are moving around an airport as you use a trolley and distances in hotels are manageable, but it is worth noting if you have to walk to/from a station en route to an airport, as I found out the first time I used it! I tried it on my shoulder and gave up pretty quickly, fearing it might rip at the connection point or the ring would snap. I didn't want a busted bag before I'd even left the country. That aside, I am really happy with the weight saving over a suitcase and the robustness of the rest of the bag. I still recommend it ;-)

Slim holdall perfect for travelling, adding little weight
I needed an additional bag after too much Christmas shopping. Perfect for weekends. Slightly thinner fabric than I expected. It did the job fine.

Good quality
Updating my travel bags and went straight to the Bago range. Bought a couple of Bago rucksacks years ago and they're still as good as new. Great range of colours. Great range of sizes depending on what you need them for. They fold away really well for storage and despite this they are still sturdy when filled. Definitely recommend.

Great as an extra check-in bag
I bought this as I had several holidays planned where I had only booked cabin baggage on the outward flight but wanted a checked-in bag on the return flight for souvenirs, shopping etcThis bag fitted the bill perfectly as it folds flat enough not to take up valuable space in my cabin bag on the outward flight and it is extremely lightweight. Before the bag arrived I was concerned that either the zip might not be very sturdy or that the material would be too flimsy however neither are the case and the bag is well designed and good quality. I like the fact that the bag folds and zips into itself when not in use as there is no additional sleeve that could potentially get lost. The only downsides I could see is that using it as a checked in bag provides little or no protection for items that may be damaged or broken. This was not an issue for me as I just filled the bag with my clothes for my return flight and carried any valuables/breakables in my cabin bag. Also, the bag is large and if you don't have enough things to fill it to capacity, items will move around. Again this was not an issue for me as I have only used it on return flights where I wasn't concerned if my clothing got creased. If I use this in future for an outward flight however I will probably use a luggage strap or two around it to prevent this.

Very functional, sturdy bag excellent for travel
We bought these bags because we were taking a side-trip while on vacation and needed a lightweight flexible bag. They fit our needs perfectly! They took up little space in our luggage, had plenty of room when we needed them and we could add a padlock for safety. Highly recommended!

These are great for traveling, washable and perfect for those who have suffered from mold toxcity
I have to say I was impressed with these. I was on a very strict budget and had to go to Dallas for hyperbaric treatment. We had to toss all our luggage after toxic mold exposure so we had 0 to even pack with. The star was going to be 5 nights/6 days so needed something of good size that was cheap. These seem to the bill. They come in and it’s in this neat little pkg. I’m like ok. This is tiny. I start unzipping and the thing is massive! I literally could get half of my body inside the bag standing up with room to spare. Haha I packed 5 days worth and with Texas weather, you never know if your to need shorts, capris, pants or sweats. One first few days it was in the 30s. Next couple of days highs of 80 followed by s cold front that blew in. So yeah, we needed basically spring, summer and winter clothes which makes it a pain and lots of packing. I packed extra and still had lots of room. I ordered the 80 L fyi.It has a side pocket for shoes which is very large. It will take up space on the inside of the bag. On the front, it has large pockets and one small pocket on the inside of the bag. It is very light when you don't have if things inside the bag. I actually ordered 2; 1 for me and one for hubs. We probably could have got away with just (1)80 L bag but it’s better to have extra room than not enough imo.Ones if The best benefits is when your done with these, they zip up to a small space savings bag so easy for storing. Unlike bulky luggage that takes up s ton of spacE. Of course, these would be better with wheels but then you don’t have the benefit of the small storage later. You can always grab a cart to roll them into hotel rooms though. They are washable! That beats the heck out of luggage yet again. Plus, the first hotel we started in had lots of mold. This was actually a concern when booking the hotel as I had heard from other mold toxcity patients about having issues with most hotels. I wasn’t sure I believed it until it halted to us. So what made be sick is mycotoxins from mold that you can’t see or smell. Well this can contaminate your items. This is why my first luggage has to be tossed. Seeing we stayed in a Moldy hotel, they are being ran through the washer unlike luggage. I actually wasn’t happy I couldn’t afford luggage with wheels until this happened. Definitely a blessing in disguise. I’m so happy I could just toss in washer. I also thought about this afterwards. How disgusting luggage is. It is thrown on floors, in bar of cars, airports, dirty clothes back into bags, dirty shoes in the bag. That’s actually really disgusting if you think about it.Ok, so for the MCS people. The plastic bags they came in, they did have this awful smell. I took out of plastic bag and only a tiny smell almost not noticeable on the bag itself. W me and family are all chemical sensitive because of the toxic mold exposure and it didn’t bother us. I know most won’t be concerned about this but I know the super sensitive will appreciate this info.As far as looks, I ordered the pink and hubs wanted the blue with marked gray. The pink looks exactly like pic. Nice and vibrant. The marbled blue is meh to me but hubs liked it so all that matters. It looked like pic as well. The reg colors is slicker than the marbled colors. So yes, highly recommend. My only complaint is yes I still want wheels lol. Next time, as long as we aren’t flying, we will take our rollable wagon. We were going to use the carts at the hotel until we saw they had obviously been left outside and there was mold in the wood bottom. We lugged it to the car instead.

Einfach unschlagbar!
