Ignite: A Friends to Lovers Romance (The Ignite Series Book 1)

I received a complimentary copy of this book through Crazy Cajun Book Addicts for an honest review.Ignite is another fabulous read from Kate Benson, she has given us two more characters to fall in love with as we go on their emotional rollercoaster of growing up and falling in love this book had me hooked from the very first page. Zeke and Addie are best friends and live next door to each other. Over the years they are together through everything then Zeke leaves to begin his freshman year at school, that summer when he returns their feelings for each other turn into more than just friendship but with them both off to different schools can they make a long distance relationship work. I loved Addie's quirks and the feelings they have for each other are so sweet this book will make you laugh and cry. I will definitely be recommending this book to everyone. Kate is known for her cliffehangers and this one is no different. I'm so excited to see what happens with Zeke and Addie next.

Kate Benson has produced a story that will Ignite and take your breath away. Kate's new release is based on two friends growing up living next door to each other and watching has their friendship Ignite to something so beautiful, but who knows what's around the corner for them. Addie and Zeke will have you feeling that your there along side them in everything that is thrown at them. The queen of cliffhangers has pulled it out of the bag with this cliffy. Thank you Kate for a beautiful story and being a awesome author. I can't wait to see what you come up with next for Addie and Zeke.

Kate did it again! Such an amazing story line, so bloody hard to put down! Yet again you made me stay up all night thinking "just one more page"

Ignite is a sweet story about two childhood friends Addie and Zeke. At what stage do you know to take your relationship to the next level, should Addie and Zeke take the risk, can their friendship with hold if they break up.In this story you watch Addie and Zeke enter adulthood. They both learn who they are and encounter problems that adults face.Addie and Zeke are both lovable characters. The story is well written and easy to follow.

Life long friends and neighbours until one summer when everything changes, and love Ignites.This is a bitter sweet love story with just the right amount of angst and yet again we're left with an amazing cliff hanger.Can't wait to see where Zeke and Addie go from here, so looking forward to the next book in the series.

Kate you done it again absolutely love this story.Zeke and Addie have been best friends since they were little but one summer things change and they notice each other in a different light and for fall for each other hard and fast.Addie is a one of a kind girl she smart but yet down to earth and a bit strange to all the other girls but that makes her unique. she has the best dance moves and fashion sense going. Zeke is the typical Guy but can only see his best friend in front of him and don't want to cross that line as scared of what will happen between them.Addie dad is away on a run one night and after fighting a losing battle Zeke gives in to temptation and bites the bullet and sleeps with Addie that was it one night was all it took for them both to wake up and realise they love each other they spent an incredible summer being together but that had to end at some point when they had to leave to go to separate schools they tried but after a while Addie called it off but 2 year's after they called it a day they move into a new apartment each only to find out there neighbours can they love ignite again or has it sizzled out ........

Zelda and Addie’s story is one for the ages. Their bond so tight even with all the obstacles they have had to face. The togetherness is epic but the separation is heart breaking. So badly want them to have their happy ending. Normally cliffhangers are not my favorite but this one was in a great spot and going to j7mp right into the next installment.

A great story of growing up, being loyal and love! An inspiring story of young love and trying to overcome obstacles that so many teens and college age kids face daily. Zeke and Addie have an amazing connection and even with time and separation manage to hold on to that. A great read, as is anything Kate Benson writes!

This was my first read by this author, while I thoroughly enjoyed the story between Zeke and Addie – I was not happy about the surprise cliffhanger at the end. Yes, I know this was book 1 in a series, but no where does it state a cliffhanger warning as I rarely read a book that ends in a cliffhanger. Just not my cup of tea. All I can do is blame myself, as I should have dug deeper before clicking the purchase button.The storyline was good, loved how their friendship blossomed into love, and I could feel their emotions coming out of my Kindle. I laughed, I cried, and I wanted to slap them both upside their heads a few times! Overall a good read, just not happy about the cliffy.

I just love zeek and addie's story. The love they have for one another is like no other. Their love proves that no matter what happens in life your love will always find its way back where it belong. I loved this book so much I had a hard time putting it down

I don't know where to begin, Kate Benson writes a character and you believe they are real, you feel the emotions to the point you heart races and you read so fast to get to the next page. This is a love story some people never get to experience and that is loving your best friend and that is the best kind of love. However, this kind of love can cause you to make decision you think are best and you lose the one thing that kept you breathing.
