I purchased this product to make the color in my hair last longer and look shinier. It works! The shampoo also makes my hair very clean and healthy. The price of this product is the best part, as I am used to paying a lot more for good color shampoo. Not many companies make color enriching shampoos, and this is one is definitely a good choice.

I really like this!I use WOW Coconut shampoo to prevent stress hair loss (it works) - what a decade - but I like to try out other products for the first or second wash in my thick hair. I have quite a few hairs along the hairline that are turning a suspicious shade of "blonde" (pre-gray desaturation) and I'm happy to have found this at the right time. The chamomile does give the lighter hairs a really nice golden sheen - nature is cool - and helps blend everything out a little. A previous reviewer who got complimented on her tones by a stranger convinced me to try this.

Hi all,I wrote an earlier review singing the praises of this incredible shampoo, and I still stand by my accolades. However, with consistent use, I found this shampoo was TOO lightening (while still keeping my thin locks moisturized, shiny and fabulous, BTW).I realized I’d need to cut back on regular usage, but I still had a few areas that still I wanted to lighten up just a touch. Namely, there was one too-brown shock of hair in my bangs that I wanted to lighten.Then the question struck me: Could I use this shampoo as balayage?The answer is an emphatic YES!I sectioned out tiny bits of my dark shock with a highlighting comb, creating thin “baby-light” strands, and applied a very small amount of shampoo, and did the same treatment with a few dark strands near my temples. I let it dry and left it in overnight.The next morning - viola! - perfect, subtle shiny “baby-lights” that nicely broke up my dark patch at my bangs/temples!Before discovering that I could use Shikai shampoo on selective strands, I used John Freida spray-in lightener (drying, runny and tilts towards reddish tones) and a L’Oréal gel lightener (yielded very minimal lightening, even with repeat use and lots of heat). Neither were getting the job done for the tiny strands of highlights I was aiming for.Consequently, the Shikai shampoo used as balayage is a genius hack, even if I do say so myself!I have become so blonde that I’m thinking about putting in some low-light baby strands to give my hair some more dimension, and I’m considering getting the brunette shampoo and experimenting with it for subtle contrasting tones. I figure I’ll have very little risk with this natural, nourishing product.So, my original appraisal of this marvelous shampoo still stands, but if it’s lightening your hair just a little too much, reduce its regular usage, or better yet - try it as the easiest balayage treatment you’ll ever find.Thank me later!

I love this golden highlights shampoo. I have been looking for a natural shampoo with gold highlights for years. So glad to have found it.I do find it is a little harsh on my fine hair. Be sure to use a good conditioner with it.I have reordered this shampoo and am recommending it to my friends.

I used this shampoo when I lived in a different area and really liked the highlights it gave my hair. Moved to an area with very hard water and now it doesn't work for me at all. Leaves a film on my hair. I recommend it unless you live in a hard water area.

I like the shampoo, smells odd to me but lathers nicely, my hair feels clean after 1 wash I have long hair so I have to shampoo twice to get clean, it didnt tangle my hair, but it didnt lighten my hair but I ama natural blonde so I didnt notive it lightening my hair but it was shiny. If the product stays true I'll purchase again

Although I have only had the gold shampoo for a short time, I can say that so far it has been great. I noticed that my hair has come back to life and is vibrant. I dye it a golden blonde anyway and it looks great.

I am a long-time user of this excellent product and ordered it for a friend to try. There were some problems with the delivery and the seller was very responsive in helping resolve the issue, though it meant a slight delay because of Royal Post procedures. A resend of the product was successful, and my friend is impressed with the shampoo.This shampoo really does bring out the natural highlights and shades of one’s hair, largely due to the marigold extracts. If there are reviews about types of red streaking of the hair after using it, this is not likely accurate about this exact product, but something else, or perhaps the other shampoo line that contains henna, or some extraneous hair coloring item. But not this product! I have friends using other shades of the product (plat and warm) with no problems either.

This is a wonderful shampoo. My hair is so light that it almost looks white and this adds golden highlights. Also it's perfect for my very fine, straight texture.
