Rollibot GENIUS BL800 - Robotic Vacuum Cleaner. Vacuums, Sweeps, and Wet Mops Hard Surfaces and Carpet.

I'm not one to spend my time writing reviews on items I bought on Amazon, but the RolliBot is incredible. I purchased the BL-800 model and although I haven't used the mopping feature yet the vacuum is simply amazing and works better than my regular vacuum. It is a little bigger than I expected and had to change the spot I had picked out in my apartment for the charger. I am using the RolliBot mainly on hard wood floors with a couple of area rugs and ceramic tile in the kitchen, and it has no problem adjusting between the 3 surfaces and their different heights. I saw some other models on Amazon for as much as $800 and I can't see how they could work any better than the RolliBot. The picture included with this review is the filter after 45 minutes of use, completely empty before I ran the RolliBot.

I bought this as a gift for my son and his roommates and they got it to work for about three months and then it just completely stopped working there’s error codes all the time and of course it’s been a few years but it’s a product that is cheaply made and I would not recommend it to anybody

Fantastic purchase. I love this vacuum. I can not believe how much dog hair and other bits and pieces it picks up from the floor. It has two vacuum inserts - one with a beater brush and one with just a slit. The small plastic twirls stick out from the vac itself and rounds up the dust and the dust bin sucks it up. It does an amazing job. People have actually said they have never seen a cleaner house than mine after using this vacuum. It also has a mopping attachment and can vacuum and mop at the same time. The vacuum picks up the dirt and the mopping attachment which fits on the back and does the mopping. The vac works great on my berber carpet and my laminate floors. It traverses the half inch thresholds that separate rooms with no problem. And yes it does return to its charging station. It also charges very fast. I have it auto-clean the downstairs each morning. Then, I take it upstairs after work and have it clean the upstairs. I am surprised at how quiet it is. Except for a few clanks when it goes over the thresholds, there is only the gentle whirling noise. It was supposed to have an invisible wall, but did not. I actually want two but can't find where to purchase them. The wifi is only 2.4 MHZ and is unreliable and difficult to connect.. And it seems to get stuck in the strangest places. It wedges itself in the side of my recliner; it got caught on my lamp, and it got stuck on the raised bathmat in the bathroom.

We purchased this product 2 years ago. Out of the box it had issues with rugs and mats. Our floor is 12 inch tile with mats in the kitchen and bathroom. Unless we picked up the mats, it got stuck every single night. Programing was difficult and had to be done on the unit. We are both IT professionals and neither of us could get the app or the remote to do anything but frustrate us. The bin is small, fills up quickly, and is painful to remove, clean, and put back in. The worst part is yet to come. 6 months later the front wheel broke off and we returned it to the warranty center. It cost us $95 to get it fixed as they were convinced it was not under warranty. They claimed someone stepped on it and broke it. We get it back and 6 months later it just died. Would not respond, would not charge, nothing. We made the decision to purchase a Rumba. So far we are happy with it and looking back, with the cost of the repair, we should of just went the Rumba to begin with. It is not worth the risk to save a little money.

I gave this to my wife as an early Christmas gift. We are both impressed! It cleans really well and we generally run it twice a day. First in 1/2 of the house, and the second in the other 1/2 of the house. The operational life per charge is really good, averaging about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours per charge. If we could only train the kids to keep up cords, this unit would always run non-stop for the whole time.We've seriously considered purchasing a second one so we could get the regular vacuuming done twice as fast and twice as thorough. For the $249 price tag, while comparable to the high-end Roomba, we could buy 3 and still be money ahead.This is a followup from my original posting. We started having problems with this unit shortly after using it. My wife noticed that one side of the brushes were not operating as well as the other side. I took the brushes off thinking that maybe some string or hair had caught up in the spindle. We found nothing wrong with it although one side was turning smoothly and the other side was stiff like something was not quite in alignment with the gears. Then the brush completely quit a few days later. My wife noticed that every time she tried to get to it through her smart phone, it wouldn't connect and she would go through the paces to reset it only to have it disconnect within a day or 2. The unit started crunching and clacking a lot. We cleaned it thoroughly at least once a week and cleaned the bin daily, so it wasn't like it was gathering a bunch of dirt that was clogging it up and due to the brushes not operating properly it was catching on every throw rug in the house, which wasn't the case when it was first opened. The final straw was when it was sent out on a schedule, moved 5 feet or so, and just died. It would not turn on, it would not move. We manually charged it thinking that it didn't get on the charger properly. It would run 3-5 feet and die. We had to send it back. It's too bad, because we really liked it's cleaning abilities when it was working properly.We returned the unit and ordered the iLife A4 instead. It does not have the wireless features, but so far we are happy with it.

I love this robotic vacuum cleaner. I have a tendency to watch it as it's cleaning because it reminds me of a little pet. I find myself calling it a "him" when I refer to it. It cleans the floors and carpets very well, and I was surprised to find that it's very quiet. It also knows how to return to its charging dock. If you are in the market for a robotic cleaner, this is the one to get!

I love the machine. It is great that I have a remote. Still trying to figure it out. But how rude is it that there is no app to download.

After trying two other robot vacsk this was the winner. I did not have to "babysit" as I did the others as it woild get stuck on low met rugs or thresholds. It is quiet and vacuums well--I havenotA winner after trying two others. I did not have to "babysit" due to getting stuck often. Cleans very well,it is quiet. Have not tried mopping, but think it will work well.

Bought this item for Christmas 2017 and by February 2018 the handle to remove and clean debris had broke and one of the cleaning brushes wouldn't spin anymore. Went through troubleshooting manual with no luck. Amazon wont take it back because its past the max days that they'll accept returns and Rollibot wants me to pay shipping and handling (80$) to send it in for repair. Very disappointing for only 1.5 months of usage.
