This razor is very good value, but I have a few concerns that make using it a little tougher than it should be.The razor features a a split spine that separates to reveal the mounting position for fresh blades, and a fold over clasp that grips the spine, to hold it in place. This is where one of the issues I have is found. If you need to undo the clasp in order to change the blade, it can be very stiff. If there is already a blade inside, then pulling firmly on the clasp to undo it must be done with extreme care, else it suddenly slip open causing you to move the exposed blade quickly in the other direction - potentially into your hand. It's easily avoided if you take care however.The other issue I have is with the position of the blade itself, within the spine. Once installed, it's almost entirely covered. It still works, but leaves slightly less blade exposed than I would like, leading to faster clogging and the need for more frequent cleaning.Despite these shortfalls, I still find this to be an exceptional razor for the money. It's well made, comes with a well made, premium feeling leather case and makes for a very good shave.I'd recommend this to anyone looking to start, or continue, their cut throat shaving journey, with a low budget.

Bought this item and its not the items fault however cut my face and throat and chin to pieces when using this. Guys in barbers make this look easy. Believe its not so easy using on yourself. Stick to going to the professionals. Had to grow beard to cover the cuts lol.

No blades included even though I was led to believe it came with 10 blades . The Information is clearly misleading and looks more plastic than steel very disappointed as was purchased as a gift .Will have to order blades now after the fact of having to give a gift that is at present useless. 🤔

Really impressed with the quality of this razor. Very nice and sturdy design. Looks more expensive. Only marked down ease of use as it is a cut throat razor after all! Does take some practice as a beginner and need to be extremely careful. Excellent for shaping and shaving around beard etc. Highly recommended

Having a thin razor blade protruding is not a good idea. In a normal old fashioned razor, the edge is part of the blade and helps you judge the angle of the edge. In this a fine thin extremely sharp edge protrudes from the assembly that carries it.
