Updated 24mar2016. Just a few days after I wrote initial review, the backup camera went dark. The backup lones are displayed when I put it in reverse, but no video. Now just an expensive mirror.First thing you notice is an extra loud and obnoxious melody when it first boots up or last thing during shut down.The large mirror is extra nice, but doesn't play well with the sun visors on my 3rd generation 4runner.The install went smoothly and the backup camera worked great for about a month before it quit.The DVR functionality is worthless as i havent been able to display the recorded videos on my mac.

Wish the recording would recycle itself... I tried reading all the directions but haven't seen, nor figured out, how to cycle the recordingUpdate - Item worked for about two months.... then it wouldn't turn on.... I reset unit.... worked for a day..... then started turning on and off constantly.... COMPLETE piece of junk....If there were negative stars I'd give it that.For the money I spent I should have received a LOT better product....

This device needs a firmware update to1. Automatically overwrite SD.2. Turn on/off or volume control to adjust the blast sounds when turning on/off, start recording. It's so loud and keeps making sounds especially when the memory is full. I couldn't stand it so I took it off from my car.Device itself is quite good with the wide range front camera and night vision rear view camera though.

Arrived with a manufacturer defect. Also this thing is huge. It looks like a clown mirror

This dash camera also comes with a rear camera, I was worried at first it wouldn't come with it but it did. Really good quality dual camera for your car. It was easy to set up and use. It comes with a 2gb SD card which is a little small but you can always buy a bigger one and install it. These days every car needs a dash camera, saves a lot of time and effort if anything were to happen. The quality of the camera is high and it automatically records when you start driving. Tried sticking the rear camera but it didn't stay well, didn't want to screw it in so I may need to find something better to make it stay better. Overall, it's a great camera and would recommend it.

Poorly designed product. May cause an accident when in use because it obstructs vision.
