I have used this for a couple of months now.My nails have not broken, they feel tougher and are not as easy to bend.Will continue to use :)

This has been working very well at making my nails stronger. I apply it, sparingly, two or three times a day.

So much money for little effect!

The first ingredient in this product is water. As a nail strengthener I found it useless.

In my search for a nail strengthening cream and polish, I came across this product. As others have failed, I had healthy skepticism prior to purchase and upon delivery but I must say, I’m a convert.You must use as directed and frequently which can be a pain for those who forget to apply hand lotion in general. A little goes a long way, it’s not greasy and works instantly. My nails feel harder and don’t bend.I slightly dip my nails into the cream and use the excess to moisturize my fingers, applying 2-3 times a day. It lasts through frequent hand washing and is truly only noticeable after a shower most likely due to prolonged time in hot water. Without the cream, my nails are visibly stronger, healthier and don’t bend and I have only had one tear after a month but I chalk that up to clumsiness and not lack of efficacy.

I have waited to post this review on Hard as Hoofs.When I first bought this product, my nails were in a very poor state.They were brittle, they didn’t appear to grow, they were cracking and some had ridges.One nail in particular was in a very poor state.It has taken more than 2 months of applying this cream meticulously and at last I can say that my nails are strong, healthy and they feel silky.After applying the cream, they look really good. Thankfully the ridges have gone.And the nail that was in a very poor state, is finally growing out and looking goodThe other comment that I would make is, the appearance of my nails made very little progress in the first four to six weeks.It took until weeks seven to eight to see the improvements.During this time, I also started taking a higher dose of Biotin daily.I was in a cooler climate for the first few weeks, my hands are always cold, and I have poor circulation.When I returned to a warmer climate, this helped my circulation and in turn helped the nail growth and improvements.I would recommend buying this product, but you need to have patience.

PROS- Smells wonderful- Hydrates top layers of the nails- Adds flexibility to nails- Adds nutrients during nail growth for long term strong healthy nails- Absorbs quickly- Leaves skin soft- No greasy residueCONS- None unless you believe that this will solve all your nail problems.Strong nails are hydrated and flexible.Water also makes nails flexible, but in a bad way that causes a lack of hydration.Peeling nails are caused by a lack of hydration.This product adds hydration to the top layers and nutrients as the nail grows for long term healthy strong nails.I noted one image review has an infection - This is not due to the product, this is due to rubbing the product upwards into an cut cuticle. I noticed another image review saying it doesnt work with an image of uneven uncut nails that peeling continues upwards. This will not stick your peeling layers together.This is a hydration mix for cuticles and nails. The consistency does soak into the first few layers of the nail and the cuticle. It contains some of the essentials to condition your nails AS THEY GROW. Massaging downwards from your cuticle to the nail tips will add nutrients for strong healthy nails as they grow. This is the nail benefit of the product and it does this very well. Its unusual consistency makes it one of my favs.How to grow your false nails out / have a week off.1. Have the false nails removed professionally or use soak - do not peel them off.2. If your nails are short and damaged. Using a fine nail file / glass nail file / square block 4 way buffer/ sharp nail clippers - shape them straight across with smooth edges (squoval). Ideally removing all the bad peeling at the tip.3. With a square block 4 way buffer to smooth out a LITTLE (2 or 3). Do not over buff to perfection, just so there are no really bad layers that can catch or have dirt and food that can get caught in between the layers.4. Add a small amount of HARD AS HOOF and rub it into the nail and cuticle area - KEEP downwards if your cuticles are in poor condition (and really you should anyway).5. Using the 4 buff (or a suede nail polisher is best) buff the nail and the HARD AS HOOF into the nail.6. Buy some VASELINE intensive care with keratin and keep it by the sink. Use this every single time you get your hands wet.7. Use the HARD AS HOOF at least 3 times a day - Vaseline cream can be used after.
