The lava rock works (in medium-small rooms)! I love it and ordered another for my other rooms. It’s durable and satisfied my need for a non-humidifying diffuser. It’s pricier than alternatives but at least I know this one works.

Great in the bathroom.
I’m using it in the bathroom with Tea Tree oil. It works well and fills up the room with scent, but it doesn’t last very long.

Can't smell much.
I guess it would work if you put it on a chain, wore it around your neck and lifted it to your nose periodically. Other than that, can't smell a thing. Looks attractive for a paperweight.
