Best Bang for your buck! (On sale)
This is an overall solid laptop. Great GPU, epic Cpu, and quality DRAM. I personally got the Ryzen 9 (Ryzen 7 isn't bad at all, but I upgraded anyway) version which for the retail $1899 price is still decent, but on sale for $1599 that I got it for is a steal! There is hardly competition for the HP omen 15 in the gaming laptop sphere without forking over another couple hundred dollars. To save you the trouble I recommend buying it brand new. There was a bit of a snafu when buying a used model, but it was taken care of and have I've had no issues with the one I currently have.

Fantastic, high build-quality gaming laptop for the price!
I saw another review stating the laptop arrives with Samsung B-Die RAM (Superior performance with Ryzen-based CPUs) however upon dissection of my device upon arrival, I found that mine came installed with 2x8gb Samsung E-Die DDR4-3200 RAM [Model # M471A1K43EB1-CWE]This is one grade below B-Die, so not terrible, but it can always be manually upgraded with 2x16gb DDR4-3200 SODIMM format RAM, perhaps even B-Die SODIMM if you can find it [I couldn't]Proof of E-Die can be seen in the Taiphoon Burner screenshot, right column 4 down under "Die Density"Came installed with a single Micron M.2 NVMe Gen3 1TB SSD - but can support an additional M.2 NVMe (Copper heatsink on the right of overview image was removed for the photo, but is included) and can also be upgraded to NVMe Gen4 should you so desire (ie; Samsung 980 EVO Pro, which currently has a max storage availability of 2TB per SSD)Read/Write speeds of this install Micron SSD reached 3500/2500 MB/s on a single test. Pretty good! Might upgrade one day but I am satisfied with this. May consider installing an additional 2TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus for gaming storage.I have not tested this yet with Virtual Reality, but plan on pairing this with a Valve Index HMD Kit for a portable VR setup to bring around with me. Will update once I get that fleshed out. I'm expecting fairly good performance but worry about heat management.Speaking of heat management, short play tests of Red Dead Redemption 2 averaged above 80fps on Ultra, with CPU temps up to 90C, while idling temps average 55-60CFans occasionally kick in and reach your usual decibel range for a gaming PC but when running at Idle speeds, the loudest thing you'll hear is your typing on the rather quiet membrane keyboard. Right handed gamers beware as one of the heat vents will void hot air to the right of the laptop and seriously warm up your mouse hand if it's too close. Ow!The 165hz screen is very clear, VERY bright (works well in sunlight,) and has a gorgeous color range. I've had 500 dollar monitors that were worse. You can't get much better. AND it's 2560 x 1440 - so you can have the clarity when you need it but downscale to 1080p for performance on future game releases or very demanding games. Nvidia DLSS (achieved with RTX cards) can also help boost this performance while keeping the clarity of a 2k resolutionFor unplugged battery use, I can get a full day on a single charge by decreasing brightness, setting resoluton to 1080p, and refresh rate to 59hz, for normal office use (NOT gaming) You'll still want this beast plugged in to expect any good performance for gaming, as running on battery for laptops has a lower power draw and underpowers the components, and of course will drain the battery quickly. Thankfully, it's so light with everything included that transportation of the power brick isn't a hassle.Amazing purchase, especially if you can snag it for or under the $1,400 price tag I got it for on sale!

Very Powerful Computer Bought at a Great Price
This computer has a very nice screen and is elevated to allow for good airflow. We use the computer for CAD Work, and it has met an exceeded our expectations. This is the first higher-end computer I have purchased. I have never seen applications open instantly on a Windows Computer. It happens on this computer. Many tasks I would wait for seem to get done in ludicrously short durations. Its a pleasure to use this computer in the configuration purchased at the price it was purchased at.

Great for the money
After ~9 months of usage I can say this is an amazing little beast for the money, works perfectly. My only gripes are that 1) the charging cable likes to slip out of the port at the slightest touch and 2) with all the cooling being on the bottom, I had to buy a cooling pad to raise it off my desk and stop it from overheating. Decent battery life, nothing more than you'd expect for a gaming pc, speakers are OK quality but definitely use headphones or external speakers if you want good quality sound. The keyboard tends to build up grime fairly easily and it can be a pain to clean them because they are so shallow. Overall, very worth the price.

Best Bang for Buck for 15" Gaming Laptop
Great gaming laptop for the $$. Won't disappoint. Laptop build quality also improved tremendously since the last Omen Laptop I bought 2 years ago and rivals my previous R3 Alienware M15 for much less and without the heat buildup issue of the Alienware. Impressive laptop and saves thousands compared to an equivalent specced Alienware.

Wow, super impressed with this Omen 15 (RTX 3070)
In the past i always bought top of the line gaming laptops typically costing $3k to 5k. I'm trying to save money and decided to take a chance on cheaper laptop. This thing runs games better than my dual 1080gtx use to and is staying cool why doing it. (If i told you the numbers you wouldn't believe me). The only thing i have to complain about is the speakers... i wish they were a bit louder.

Great value!!!
I love this laptop. The screen image is gorgeous, and I play everything maxed out and looks great. Same with videos on HBO, Disney+ or Prime.

Good price for the competency!!! 👍
Is nice overall even tho I might be having an issue with one of the fans and that could make me reconsider but is a lot of quality hardware for the price and the chasis build is great, gaming is amazing but only if plugged in 100% of the time I guess that’s the only way to game on laptops, I feel tho it has some wattage deficiencies, like Energy limitations but strictly designed like to protect the temperatures and in that aspect it performs decent as well I was expecting hotter results even tho I could get to those in the future who knows 🤷♂️ , overall this is 4 or 4.5 out of 5 Nice product by eluktronics 👍 RTX 3070 tgp is 100W which is not bad and you can upgrade RAM at least up to 32gb
